i certainly am. kept asking my friend if he was ready to pig out on more "free" food... forgetting he ended up not doing the plan lol.

has it always been offered at carowinds, or is it a recent offering to boost our interest in the park's dining choices?

Loving the dining plan this year. Hoping it is continued next year as we plan to get platinum passes spend a week going to Kings Island, Cedar Point, and Kings Dominion. Will be nice not having to worry about paying for food for the week Agreed Harmony Hall has the best selections but the Fury burger at Jukebox Diner it HUGE. I didn't even eat the fries. My son likes the ribs at Harmony Hall. He has had them twice so far.

I'm loving my dining plan and I'm thankful they are offering it this year. The only thing I wish is since we get a total of 2 meals it would be nice for me, if they would allow you to use them at anytime you want. If you want to eat at 1200 and turn around and want to eat at 2 or 3 you should be able to that's my only complaint but besides that I love it.

The wings at the place near cobra wasn't the best (not spicy enough). But the burgers with those curly type fries in harmony hall are amazing. My dad got the brisket and he said it was really good also!

So far I think it's just Ok but it's likely because I converted to vegetarian last year. I had a salad at Harmony Hall and it was good but nothing I would consider outstanding like I've heard with some of the carnivore dishes. I haven't had anything else yet other than a soft pretzel from Auntie Anne's and I was thankful for the 10% discount.

Honestly, ^I'm not overly impressed by the food so far either.

Between me and my wife, we got two burgers at different times. Her's was overcooked, badly, and really dry. Mine was fresher and pretty good. The big battered fries were good.

I had a pulled pork sadwhich. It was fine. Mac and cheese was okay.

She had the ribs, which she said were okay too. Cole slaw was decent.

But granted, it's an amusement park, so I'm not disappointed because I had some lofty expectations of great food. I'm happy for the additional choices, and glad we bought the food plan to keep things reasonably priced for the whole season. So, I give the meal plan a great big thumbs up, simply for the value factor.

Does anyone have a good video from their vehicle of the sight you see after you exit the toll plaza?

I was BLOWN AWAY by that. First and BY FAR the biggest thing you notice when driving in is the openness. Before, you couldn't REALLY see the park much because of the trees and the way the entrance was designed. NOW, as soon as you make the turn from the toll booth, you see THE PARK. ... and you see INTO the park. It is a VAST, VAST difference.

I don't know if they left that mound of sand/dirt next to the toll booth to help with that effect but it sure helps.

I was truly shocked by this view. On Media day, there was an overcast and for some reason, it didn't really stand out to me. But Saturday provided a beautiful day and a beautiful view.
