I'll email Jason, the electrician whose company did all the electrical work and lighting. I'd like to know that too.

John said there were plans to add LED's on the first, third, and fifth hexagon in the tunnel. I guess time got the better of them and all they could get was the first one for now. Maybe once they go back to weekends only we'll see some finishing touches.

The three days I have been there, they have been busy, but still smiling, still having fun and making "seat assigning" easy and enjoyable. I have fallen in love with Miss Eunice. On media day she was at the start of the line greeting everyone and she laughed at me every time I ran by to ride again. I told her I was going to take her on the ride with me one day and she just giggles at me. The last couple days she has been assigning seats and she doesn't play, but people respect her and she is having fun at her job. She rocks!

I agree! Miss Eunice is awesome and I've told her that several times. I don't remember everyone's names but Mike (not Mike Fehnel) and Drake also were great. On Sunday the crew came out and greeted the people waiting for Fury to open. The staff is great. Very impressed with how friendly everyone is.

Oh I love Miss Eunice. Always have from Intimidator. She very friendly and goes out of her way to get you the seat you want. lol I was happy to see her on Fury. When I first seen her Friday night she recognized me and said, 'what are you doing back here away from your Timmy" she replies, "I had to move on to bigger and better things. I just laughed lol

I have been at the park every day since it opened and Miss Eunice has been there every day she is a very sweet lady and I always talk to her before I get on. We talked for almost an hour Saturday waiting for the temps to warm up because I was first in line Saturday. So we talked about how much I enjoyed the ride and how shes only rode it once but she loved it, we just had a long conversation. She is just one of the best employees I have came across in a while.

Overall just a great group on Fury!

I love her too! I like Jon a lot as well. He always teases me when I come with a girl  He is always friendly and goes out of his way to get me a seat if I want it. There is one other lady who works at Intimidator whose name I can't remember. She always wears a sun hat and when I saw her saturday she came and hugged me and asked me how I was. Carowinds has done a great job picking their ride ops and attendants.

Ok, went to Carowinds after work yesterday for the first time season. Went straght from work uptown and had to deal with horrible traffic from I-77. After taking about 40 minutes to get to the park it was all Fury plus some Intimidator. I was able to ride 3 times on Fury, plus get dinner (dinning pass), and even managed a ride on Intimidator. Let me start with Fury 325, there is no other way to say it then simply Amazing. I mean it litterly has everything all into one coaster. Honestly I know everyone has different preferences (TPR enthusiasts), but it really baffles me someone could not be blown away. It has speed, airtime, forcefulness, and the largest drop on a traiditional roller coaster in the entire world. It really is a great coaster and I really appreciate Carowinds and B&M for going outside the box with this one and hope they don't create another one like it. Also the new entrance was great as well.

Now for two rather big complaints, this has nothing to do with the ride and something I hope Carowinds will take care of rather quickly. First being the motor of the lift, it is loud as can be in line. All they need to do is have the fence higher so the sound can bounce off in the other direction. It truly was giving us a headache everytime it would turn on, I heard about ten peolpe saying the same thing. They could also put more TV's with speakers for everyone as well IMO, one speaker is behind the fence causeing you to not be able to hear it. The next complaint is the loud howling (train) noise on the turn pulling into the station. I have never heard that on any other ride and it is straight obnoxious especially under the lockers. I dont get how a 30 Millions dollar coaster can make that noise and just seems damaging. B&M should be doing whatever it takes to fix that. These are not huge things but they do have a big impact for experience for the GP and I really hope they fix those things ASAP.

Thanks for reading and any insight would be awsome. Also a question I have always had, why do Cedar Fair parks not have wait times at the begining of lines at their parks? I love that feature at parks.

Here now. Got here at about 3:00, and rode Fury twice already. Each time, the wait was about 20 minutes, so not bad at all. Right now my kids are spinning themselves silly on Scream Weaver, while I do the "sit on a bench with a Diet Coke" ride. Lol. We'll be venturing into the rest of the park shortly. Oh, and I think half our town is here today...before we even got in the front gate, someone was calling my daughters name. :-)

I'll chime in to say that there is a "2 hour wait from here" sign at the entrance to Nighthawk. (They actually need to move that sign to the station.. lol ok, I digress)

In your defense though, I don't remember any others around. (Most other rides are walk-ons anyway except for Ricochet. I had to wait almost a half-hour on Monday and EVERY OTHER RIDE (except Fury) was a walk-on.

I guess they need to figure out how many people can fit in the queue (They already know the number of riders per hour). They could put a different sign out depending on how many trains they're running. Heck, in this day and time, they should be able to have digital signage to change the wait time and have it real time based on how fast the trains are dispatching.

Exactly! All parks like Busch Gardens, Universal, and Disney all have digital signs saying how long the expected wait time will be. Obviously they aren’t completely accurate but they are pretty close. They even have central locations listing all the rides and their wait times some parks even have ride wait times on their cell phone apps which is awesome.
