But, where do I find the info on what rides are open early for pass holders and what times those actually are. No where on the season pass page can I find it (or I may be overlooking it). I want to be at the park gate when it opens for pass-holders.

Thats what I figured.
Does Carowinds have any other way for early admission?
I know Cedar Point has a few ways to get in early.
(At least they used to)

Does anyone know when the season pass processing center opens? Just wondering if it was when the park opens or before.

Was wondering this same thing. We didn't go to the early processing because it's just too far to drive. So I was wondering when we go this Friday if we could get them processed before the park opens or does it all open at the same time? Thanks!

Well I went on Monday and it was open before the park opened. I'm not sure exactly what time it opens up but I got there at 9:30 am and was able to get season passes processed at that time. Hope that helps.

Showed up at 10:03 at the season pass processing center with my vouchers and was literally walking across the bridge into the park at 10:10 with my card (and my 2 family cards). It is not a big thing to get your cards anymore because they no longer print you picture on the card. They just assign the picture they take to the card number so when they scan your card your picture comes up on their screen for validation. Easy Peezy. Just snap the pic, sign the card and off you go no waiting for ANYTHING.

Alright so I have asked about this before, but I'm going to give some advice now. Let me start this by saying that I normally don't use my pass to get in, I use an app called Card Star (you type in the number under the bar code on your pass and it creates an exact replica). The primary reason I use my phone is because I have this irrational fear that I'll miss my pocket when I go to put my pass back in and it'll be gone and I will have to pay a replacement fee, whereas with my phone, I can hear it hit the ground if I miss my pocket or something random happens. Anyways, yesterday afternoon I walked up to the entrance and proceeded to show the man there my phone with the bar code on it. Well at first he was sort of thrown off, and he said that I needed to get it processed. even though I have a card. I also explained to him that the bar code on my phone is the exact bar code that is on my pass. Once I said that, he scanned it and my picture came up, yet he still kept going. I had a hard time understanding this seeing that if my picture had popped up on the screen saying that I was a valid pass holder. He again, more angrily(for lack of a better word), asked to see my card. I'm not one to argue or go off on him, and I just wanted to get into the park. At that point my dad who was with me got sort of fed up and just said "For god's sake just show him the card." So I showed it to him and he was like, "next time just show me the card." Anyways I found it somewhat funny that as soon as I walked away, the lady next to him was confused and asked if they needed to have a physical card. Needless to say, use your pass for the few of you that might use your phone or any electronic bar code.

They advertise that you can use PassBook to get in! Obviously that guy didn't get the memo!
I'd chalk it up to being first weekend issues...

^Yep.Plenty of the Carowinds employees will be in their first days of work of the year, and maybe at their first job ever. There's certainly some growing pains to be witnessed around the park. Just roll with it, don't fight it.

^ ^ I like your Dad's style. But then, I'm probably as old, or even older than him. Get off my lawn

By late afternoon yesterday, I had visions of where the supervisors in Harmony Hall were hiding. I was imagining them hiding in a broom closet, passing a flask of whiskey between each other. And they were saying things like, "I don't care if they fire me. I cannot look down the barrel of 6 more months of this, and be sober at the same time. I just can't do it."

I'm just the opposite about carrying the card around the park. I leave my phone in the car, and would rather carry the card around all day. That way if I lose the card, I can just head back and get another card made. Losing my phone (or even more likely, damaging it) would be a much much bigger hassle and expense. But maybe that gets back to me being "Dad aged". I can (and would rather) have a day at the park without my phone beeping at me.

I am so with you on this. I'm almost 50 and I find that every year I turn a little bit more into my father.

I want them to create a job for me at Carowinds where I have the power to go and take all the basketballs away from the kids. I swear if I get hit with one more ball that somebody can't control, I'm going to toss it into the nearest trash bin. And on that note, when did it become acceptable for someone that hits you with a ball to simply say "My fault" and not "Sorry"?

OMG! I just did it again. I might as well have stood her and yelled "GET OFF MY LAWN".

leave the kids' balls alone, Littlegiles. you might just be jealous you're not dribbling down the paths with one since you don't feel like dishing out valuable cash for it
