I really enjoyed your video, one of the best I've seen. Thanks for sharing.

Stay tuned because I'm making a video of all the coasters from the footage of my gopro and DSLR! Thanks for the kind words! :D

Great video. Never thought about raising my legs during the airtime hills. Interesting and something I will have to try tomorrow. Just hoping to finally get a front row ride. First ride season pass night 5 row seat 3. Last Monday same seat  and then rode again in 4 row second seat.

Yes I had ridden 6 times in rows 2,3,4,5(twice) and row 8 before I rode the front row. I had to ask the guy assigning rows who directed me to ask another lady who let me go front row after I told her I had been trying all day for the front. I'm so grateful that I got to get my POV footage and experience that speed. It edged out I305 after riding in the front for me. Crazy airtime, long drop, long ride, good theming, awesome restraints/trains. Super stoked that I rode 7 times as I won't be back until next year at best

The park reads these forums pretty regularly, and we wouldn't want to come off as a bunch of rule breaking miscreants would we?

Okay I can respect that. Thanks for the warning! In all fairness though I was openly wearing the chest mount with the gopro on it and the ride ops said absolutely nothing... Not that it justifies my post.

It's tough, because obviously a GoPro is about as "loose" as a watch, belt, shirt, etc. It's hard to write that kind of exception into a rule though and you probably don't want it on the ride op to decide so hence the blanket rule.

This. At BGW you can go to guest relations and get your chest mount checked and they give you a form you show to ops that allows you to film on all rides. I love that about BGW, and wish cedar fair parks would do something similar.

That's a great policy. It's interesting the different approach parks take. You've got Universal where they're putting metal detectors at the entrance to lines, then down the road at Disney you can take your camera on everything (unless that's changed).

When I went to Disney last November I just took my camera on all rides completely obviously, and some ops even waved for the camera! I still think BGW has the best policy as it allows for people who want to film safely and for serious reasons (YouTube, not coaster selfies) to film.
