I used mine for the first time at the Jukebox Diner. For a very good turkey sandwich on pretzel bread with seasoned crinkle fries. Glad I got the meal pass.

When we got to the cashier, all she did was ask us if we had the dining plan. She didn't even scan our cards, so after eating our funnel cakes, we all went for another meal to take home. I'm not sure if this was a mistake, but if the funnel cakes are free without having to use your meal plan, then I am uber satisfied

happened to me today; barely flashed my card and i was good to go.

the pretzel buns at Jukebox are the park's best in my opinion. so good with the fury cheeseburger. my favorite side, however, remains the thick wedge-like curly fries at Harmony Hall.

I'll quote myself from another thread...

It was a really great day at the park, until I bit into my fried fish from Dockside Fries. The young woman told me I was going to have to wait a few minutes for my fish, but that they were going be really fresh because they had to fry up a new batch. So, I waited. And I eagerly bit into my freshly fried fish, only to find the middle still frozen. I'd have been glad to wait a couple more minutes, really.

Ok, I think I have to give a the people barfing on rides a little slack... maybe it's not entirely the fault of the person barfing. You never know what they might have gotten served from the Carowinds food places.

It is the heavily-breaded, par-fried, frozen, fry-and-serve type of stuff. Although certainly not healthy, it could be yummy (if you like heavily-breaded and fried foods, and I do) like a Long John Silver's type of food. The sides availble are... fries.

My wife was like, "GO tell them about it! [serving still frozen-in-the-middle fish]". I took coasterbruh's approach... I looked at is as a free meal (although certainly paid for). I ate a few more of my fries, and tossed it the garbage can, and took it as a learning lesson. Carowinds is not a place to ever eat seafood, even the fry-and-serve type.

^ I beg to differ. Outer Hanks (now replaced with chickie's and pete's) had great fry and serve seafood and wasn't heavily breaded either. I was upset when they decided to get rid of it but then I was happy to see chickies and pete's being from up north the seafood they serve is so wonderful. They finally opened up mid season then and I came to the realization that they didn't serve the seafood portion of the menu.

have to say that my dinner last night in Harmony Hall was nice. I had a Pulled Pork Sandwich (HUGE) and my side was Tomatoes & Okra. I was surprised by the side dish. Not only was it piled high in the bowl, but it was really tasty. I don't like my T&O soupy and these were wonderful. More like a hearty casserole than a stewed side. I was surprised she didn't charge me for my drink and I even mentioned it as I was paying for my drink as well as someone elses. She just let us go. I'm not one to argue about a free Coke.

Tonight maybe I'll try the Fury Burger, but I have really been craving some Boardwalk Fries. Do they have malt vinegar for the fries?

Also, I see people talk about Crab Fries from Chickies. Are they just fries seasoned with Old Bay or are they like little fries made with "crab"? I know....newbie question. LOL

Thanks much. Now I know I don't have to spend money for something special, I can just utilize my included fry selection.

I love pizza, burgers, and fries as much as anyone but I was wondering are, there any healthier options available in the park? Specifically fruit or salads or anything grilled.

There are also wraps (I think one was turkey, other grilled chicken) served with grapes and little carrots. They are available at the new Coke place in Thrill zone. I thought those were some nice "lighter" options. One of my favorite meals so far, especially because it was really quick to grab and eat.

If you look at Carowinds website, in the section with the Dining Pass options, there is a FAQ list that shows all the foods available on the pass at each location. I ended up saving the list on my phone so I can quick reference in the park. For lighter fare, here are some options.

Coke Marketplace
Turkey & Muenster Wrap
Grilled Chicken Wrap

Harmony Hall
Smoked Turkey Panini
Turkey Burger

Chicken Shack
Gluten-free Salads

Hopefully that helps some. I didn't see a salad listed for the Pass in Harmony Hall, but I bet if you spoke with someone you could get one.

Now if Harmony Hall could just serve the food hot for a change. 3 out of four meals so far have been cold and stale. Flavor and portions are good, but no trays and cold food not so nice.
