I found out that the scale for the Hurler one was actually pretty far off, so I might try doing that one again with more stuff.. And the Thunder Road one was made before Twisted Colossus was announced so I actually came up with that crossover on my own :P

Well.....I LIKE the Thunder Road concept. Thank you for sharing both!

Has anyone ever been on X2 at Magic Mountain? I haven't myself, but I love watching videos of it and always thought that a ride like that would fit in great at Carowinds.

^ You know, if B&M is still working on their 4D wing design, it wouldn't be a bad fit for Carowinds.

Didn't X2 have some outrageous price rage like $48 million with all of its redesigns and stuff?

When I went to MM, X2 was down but Green Lantern was awesome. I know it hurts a lot of people, but the forces are super fun and you feel like you are going to be ejected from your set going around every turn (that actually did happen on a Zac spin in Spain...) so even with the capacity problems the ride ha, I think an Intamin Zac Spin or the new S&S version would be a perfect fit for carowinds. They have super small footprints and could fit in the middle of the count fair section.

I doubt the 4D coaster will ever be built again in the U.S. How many more since X have been built?

In the past 4 years, 2(ish) have been built. I'm sure B&M could create a smooth, reliable 4D coaster. I don't think we've seen many 4D coasters due to lack of technology, but I think Batman will create more demand for them.

If it doesn't totally work like most of S&S other coasters. Quite honestly, it looks like a cheap knock off of the Intamin ZacSpin.

I love everything about X and X2 rode it before and after the redesign. I felt Carowinds could use such a coaster as well. I think Dinoconda is the only other version around.

The reason I feel that a X2 type coaster would be a great fit at Carowinds is the versatility that is already in place. We have woodies, stand up, lay down, inverted, not to mention the world's largest giga coaster. I would love to see an awesome winged coaster come our way.
