Howard has been up and walked today! I'm so thrilled that he's doing well. I'm sure he is feeling all the good vibes and happy thoughts all of us are sending his way.

Just left after a visit with Howard. He looks AMAZING! Has great color, and lots of energy. We even went for a walk around the floor. I'm so impressed with his recovery! He's super thankful for all the love and support we've all showed him during this time.

Howard has had some ups and downs in his recovery. He was released from the hospital just six days after surgery, which was amazing! Unfortunately, on Saturday he had to return to the hospital to treat an infection in his wound site. He got to go home again on Sunday. Then yesterday he had to go back to the hospital again because his blood sugar dropped dangerously low. He's been re admitted. I haven't gotten an update since last night, but I'll be sure and update the thread when I hear something.

Please continue to pray/send good vibes/think happy thoughts for Howard.

Also, someone has set up a schedule for people to bring them meals during his recovery time. If anyone is interested in signing up to take them a meal (or to have a meal delivered to them) and would like the info on that, please let me know.
