I just want to reiterate how awful assigned seating is.

^^It would be nice if they could just have the "grouper" allow a certain amount of people into the station area to allow them to pick their own seats. BGT does this on busier days on some of their coasters and it seems to work out just fine. I understand they are trying to push the most out of the capacity, but I would rather pick my own seat too.

I just haven't seen anything that suggests that assigned seating actually improves capacity. I get the theory behind it but I've never seen it play out in reality.

A friend is there from NYC today and probably isn't even going to get to ride in the back of the train. 600 miles to not even get to experience the best seat on the ride.

They were doing assigned seating about two weeks ago but I just asked to sit in the back row and so they assigned me to that row.

I always say i'll wait for the particular seat I want. Since im almost always a single rider I get to do so. Are they letting people wait for the front on the left side of the stairs like they were doing on media day?

Last night me and some friends asked for front row and they just said sure..

^^ Same here, last Tuesday me and a friend asked for front and back seats, and we got both. It seems that they are willing to make a few exceptions on less crowded days.

My only two rides I got the same exact seat. Go figure. Does it seem a lot of the coasters are getting stuck this year?

Afterburn was pretty much stuck all day. As soon as I got to the top of the stairs The Fury was delayed and took a train off. Then about 30 minutes later it got stuck. Just seems that way I guess. Anyways The Fury just edges out The space mountain for my #1.
