Yeah, I use the same pixelcaster link and it works for me, although there really isn't much to see except maintenance trucks continuing to work on little things at the front entrance.

Its getting off-topic but I like to use the front gate cam to help me judge the crowds. I hope they don't remove it for good. I would think they could use it to show off the entrance and the people coming in.

I had my jaw on the floor on Good Friday when I saw the traffic backed up at the toll plaza until 11:45. The crowds that day were phenomenal. The cam helps me decide when and what day to go.

^ likewise. finding myself, however, parking & entering via the south gate now. voluntarily lol. exiting at the end of the day is infinitely FASTER + SIMPLER from there than waiting in the endless line that is often times backed all the way to the new parking lot

That's why, right as the park closes, I get in the regular line for Fury. That way the parking lot is empty by the time we leave!

Which might be precisely why it's gone. They want you to come to the park, no matter what. Why would they want to give you any reason to not come to the park?

In my case, I'm going (I have season passes) but I have to plan ahead for what day I want to take off and what day my wife can get off, etc. I like seeing what day I can have the most enjoyable experience which should be what the park wants. There have been days in the past when I had an opportunity to go but stayed away because of fear of it being too crowded.

I will NOT go on a weekend for a park visit... period. (Only weekend day I plan on going is May 2nd to see my daughter play with her school at the palladium but, since we have season passes, I will NOT be staying after it's over. Otherwise, I would not get within 50 miles of the place on the weekend.)

Agreed about weekends! I once made the mistake of going to Kings Island on a weekend and NEVER AGAIN!!! And it was so hot that day I felt like I was on the sun. If I go, I try to go on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. I once went to Cedar Point in Oct and, although it was crowded, it wasn't horrible like KI was on a weekend.

Me either!! I like Tues or Wed and always check to see how hot it's going to be that day too. I once went to KI with friends on a Saturday. It was so crowded and so hot I felt like I was on the sun.......From that point I vowed never to go on a weekend EVER again.

But, if it shows there is no one in the park it can prompt more people to show up...
