OK, here we go....

How about a Soarin' (EPCOT) ride on all things Carolina's (NC & SC). It could take us from the highest peaks of Mt Mitchell (NC) in the Blue Ridge mountains all the way down to the coast (Charleston or Myrtle Beach SC). The ride itself would be costly but the aerials could be filmed inexpensively with a drone in HD. How cool would it be to see the following from an aerial perspective....

Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Coca Cola 600 race.
River Rafting or Snow skiing from the Boone or Asheville area.
Rock Climbers at Chimney Rock
The Grand Strand at night
SC beaches
Uptown Charlotte Skyline
Balloon Festival in Anderson, SC

Unless Disney has an agreement with the manufacturer that no others can be built, we could always just use a simple low cost family type indoor water ride like the old Kings Island "Enchanted Voyage" and film it in 3D.

Well, it's a chill ride none-the-less.

Anyway, just a thought.

Instead of doing only one flavor, you could change the show to focus on different regions.

Windseeker is not a 'chill ride' because of the height restriction. While it also isn't a thrill ride I consider it a flat ride.

For many people Windseeker is the scariest attraction at the park.

They can use the action FX building for that. No need to spend millions . It can be like Europe in the Air at busch gardens in va where you're on a guiding tour.

When the park was built, it had a full collection of chill rides. Carolina Railroad, Short Line Railroad, Sternwheeler, Speedway, Jalopies, Cable Skyway, Monorail. All that's left is a much neutered version of SLR.

Transit Authority is one of my family's favorite rides at Magic Kingdom. Most always a short (if any) wait and you get an inside view of several rides. It lasts a good long time and it is shady and breezy. If you are lucky like we were one time, you get to see Space Mountain with the lights on. In fact if you ever get to Space Mountain and it is down for repair, be sure to immediately get on the Transit Authority and you may get to watch them work on it.

I would love to see something similar at Carowinds where you can actually get off at different parts of the park.

Now THAT's one of THE BEST ideas I've read. It would serve several purposes. A place to sit and enjoy a breeze. A way to get from point A to point B. A way to look around the park to see what rides are looking available. A way to just see the sights.

They dont have a large footprint and the stations are relatively small. I love the idea of a continuously moving ride within the station. Lets have at least 2 or 3 "stations" throughout the park. Begin in Carowinds Plaza, maybe County Fair, maybe Thrill Zone.... definitely Boomerang Bay. In this day of computer technology, you could have the rider determine if they want to leave at the next station. If not, have a button on the ride that would signal it to continue on and not merge into the station. Of course, to ensure fairness, you could have the ride automatically pull into the beginning station if the riders elected to go all the way around and not to pull into any of the other stations. (If you enter a station, you must get off.) Again, a computer can control demand. A computer could make sure every station had an empty car available either from a siding or have indicators at another station for the employees to let an empty car through for that purpose. I don't know. So many possibilities. I love the idea!!!!!!!

Add me to the list of people who think a transit authority style ride would be great for the park. I think there should be a tour guide on each train instead of a voiceover to make the ride more interactive.
