Definitely not.
I can agree with Jonathan on the issue with Thunder Road. Mike, John, and even Steve have told me that the coaster isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Thunder Road opened with four trains and both sides running, the line was quite long.

Also want to note that the parking lot next to Thunder Road is no longer fenced off and the few markings I found around Whitewater Falls were mainly down the little que line looking path that dead ends between Whitewater and Mini Golf. Any one know if that path ever was anything other than a dead end or is it just a second observation area for Whitewater?

Survey marking I seen around Whitewater Falls appear to be the same old present from 2006. That why I didn't document them again, atleast yet.

Didn't they also tell you the flag poles would be returning?

Just saying...

I'm still very sure that Thunder Road isn't going anywhere.
No, they did not tell me that the flags would be returning. I just saw them on the entrance plans. Obviously, they're not the only things that didn't get placed in the new entrance. Than again, maybe it's still in the books, but they haven't done it yet. I have no idea.
I'm still sure that Thunder Road will be here for years to come.
In one form or another...

...and that's why I pushed back a bit on the campground. Nothing is 100% certain until it is announced and even then it's not always 100% but usually close.

Exactly. Plans change. Park reps don't comment or are evasive for reasons. Mike can say something today and it be totally true, but as with any business, a new truth can come tomorrow.

I don't feel like Thunder Road is going anywhere, nor do I feel that it's getting the RMC treatment. But stranger things have happened.

And since I've now met Barbwire, I know he's not a pasty white 14 year old kid with a lisp like I imagined :-p (we hugged it out).

Lol, If anything I'd like to see the current parking lot get the "new parking lot treatment" with the addition of medians and trees, also lots of repaving and need I mention speed bumps?

Hahaha such a funny moment. But yeah. I think its great park reps and vp's are accessible to us at carowinds. But at the same time we have to respect the fact they what they may say today may be changed tomorrow. That's why its a good idea to not blab on the internet unconfirmed info that hasn't been made public. A lot of the time personel from the park are communicating to us as enthusiast themselves. I personally feel impartial to thunder road leaving or staying

To deny a rumor is true, is normally a sign that the ship is sinking. Example: Log Flume and the website error.

However I wouldn't say plans change overnight more like, they have several options.
