Is this the rumored new launch technology from B&M? The animation hardly looks like B&M but it certainly could be. I couldn't find any info on the manufacturer. Looks like a cool ride anyway.

I dont know about you guys but im kinda jealous! :rolleyes: Not for carowinds sake but for PGA, now the year isnt over and announcements are still to come but I think PKI could have went one season w/o adding an attraction and still be a great place to go to. But then again I could be eating crow by the end of the month if I hear another announcement.

But I think I have found a new home park. If anyone knows me then they know im all about theme attractions and this one just makes my nipples hard.........errr too much huh . Now if the real thing is like that animation then im sold. Correct me if im wrong, but isn't this the chain's first intamin coaster.

Volcano: The Blast Coaster is Intamin. So, this will be the second one to go in a Paramount Park. Hopefully, we will see more Intamin coasters in Paramount Parks.

Oh yeah.........I forgot all about that coaster!! And that makes you think, after all the problems PKD experienced w/ it paramount went back to em'. But then again, this isnt break-thru technology.

If the actual ride is anything like it and if the planned park for japan is based its rides on the same concept then Feel really sorry for the other park chains because they are gonna really have to up their game in a sense.

I'm interested in seeing the layout of the ride. Wonder if there will be one launch or a series of launches throughout the ride.

Love the looks of the trains/cars.

I guess its a good thing that this didn't go to PKD. I could see the cracks about it being the launch capital of the world.

Now, if they do this up right, I can't wait to see the Addams Family ride.

But max as far as the layout.........
looks to be a launch, uphill helix, some low ground turns (looks like your gonna be dodging objects), then a turn very similar you would see on the maurer shone (things that make you say hummmm.......) then it dives down and under some overhead street signs, back up then down the stairs, back up and stops, then the highlight of the ride comes to play. The helicopter comes in and shoots up everything then blows things up, then you launch again into a tunnel (I think its called an aqua duct), then outta that you fly through the billboard into what looks to be a simulated splash down (think anaconda or hulk) then you get off and get back in line for one of the coolest attractions on the planet!!

I just read that its Premier doing the coaster. Makes sense in the end.

Who knows. Carowinds could get something like that. It just might not be this year. Maybe next! You never know.
