I know what happened and i wouldn't make up a terrifying story about that and i know what happened on Texas giant...A lady got on the ride with her son and she didn't hear as many clicks in her restraint as everyone else and the ride employees told her that there was no sign of any problem so she fell out during the ride and died..Why would i make something up that is life risking? Its not like i'm trying to say fury 325 is a bad roller coaster..You don't have to call me a lier

Um, New Texas Giant has hydronic lap bars so they don't click at all. And with the clicking, I've heard of that happening on a B&M before. There is a rachet that keeps the lap bar closed and sometimes a person that is just the right size, will get the lap at down to where it clicks for the last time, but it is right on the edge of the rachet. Henceforth, the reason for the lap bar going up one click. It was at the end of the rachet and did not fully click down. This is why carowinds requires two clicks for the train to be dispatched so just in case the click is at the top of the rachet, the lap bar does not fly open if it slips, it still has another rachet. So in other words, there is a super extremely minute chance the lap bar will ever open up, or maybe even a 0% chance. I hope that made sense.

Thanks for the information! Thats the info that i was wanting to hear!

Exactly Texas Giant lapbar don't make the clicking sound. Furthermore, I dare say the click up you are referring to was more than likely the lapbar clicking into position. The lapbars work similar to the a Ratchet.

I was on the ride and they were about to send us out when someone started yelling saying someone was having a seizure and I saw the guy on the ground shaking and twitching. They made us get off the ride and back into the line and sent up an empty train. Then let us back on after the next train was emptied. That was my last ride of the day. He was just laying in the ground when we came back to the station and the paramedic was breaking an ice pack and I guess they were waiting to send him to the hospital? I was freaked out. Never saw something like that in person. I'm happy it didn't happen while he was on the ride. Not sure how that would have went down. I hope he's okay though.

With all the press and praise Fury325 is getting, do you guys think it's the company's new signature coaster, or is Millennium Force still #1 in the chain? I mean this in the eyes of Cedar Fair, not us.

It was my moms first time on fury..I had to hold on for my life with my legs crossed, holding my moms arms and my seat tight and just hope i will stay safe. We tried screaming to stop the ride but nobody listened..But ended up alright and rode 2 more times after that..I wouldn't have been scared if something similar didn't happened to a lady on Texas giant but she fell out..STORY OF MY LIFE...

Let me make sure I understand...when you say your lap bar "clicked up" it seems to imply it came all the way up since you were holding on for dear life, correct? Now, if said lap bar came up you would have still have on your seat belt but neverless...what were your legs crossed over...the base of the lap bar? Now this is the part that puzzles me. After your near death experience...instead of alerting the ride ops, you got right off and back in line. Now, your mom, who was just freaking out and almost crying, allowed her child to get back on a ride who's lap bar just malfunction? Was anyone in the row with you guys? Im sure they would have witnessed your ordeal...but no one said anything...ANYTHING to the ride ops? I'm not saying your story isn't real...well hell, that's exactly what i'm saying. When you hit the brake run...were you still holding on to the lap bar? Pulling into the station, no one noticed your lap bar not in your lap?

I mean...even if it did click up one notch I would STILL say something...

Call me daring but I wouldn't. I rode Hurler a couple weeks ago, and the seat bottom was out of position. But since I know that the are just press fit into place, I slid it back into place myself. There is a reason Carowinds wants two clicks on lapbars and it is just in case the first click wasn't a full click.

I have other choice words i'd rather call you but daring isn't one. Brave would be one...and risky but I digress   . I just don't buy that story. The crew on Fury 325 is NOTORIOUS for stapling you into the seat. It's like they take pride in knowing they are virtually crushing your nuts. The restraint system is so sensitive that even when you think it's down enough it isn't to the computers liking. Maybe the "click" was engaging the lift chain? I cant really speak much on this until I know exactly how far...even if said restraint came up.

Risky? I was only joking about daring! Seat bottoms on PTC coaster cars are just press fit into place by hand. Ride Maintenance verified this, forgive me for knowing inside knowledge of something.

All your knowledge is old news. Quote something from 2007 and beyond...and I need a source...

I never said it came off...Im just saying it clicked one position upward...I was still secure..And i did tell them when i got off the ride and they thanked me for telling them. I don't think its necessary for you guys all to jump on my back and tell me its all a lie when its the truth..Its not even a big deal..I just wanted to share with my fellow members what had happened..I really do not want you guys to hate me..I wanna be a friend to all of you and i don't want a stupid malfunction keeping this from happening..Im sorry for sharing...Ill just keep it to myself next time..I was just trying to help by telling you guys..I knew it was safe to get back on because i knew b&m is a safe manufacturer.

That's terrible. I once saw someone have a seizure like that a long time ago and it freaked me out and upset me so bad, but I think the odds are that he is probably OK, at least I hope so.

About the ride one click up........freaky story........Sorry that happened

Cody, when you say things like holding on for your life and you had to hold on to your mom and the seat, crossing your legs...you are making the situation seem a lot worst than what it was. And now you see how things can blow out of proportion.
