Yes, as far as I know it can be manually brought down. It just won't rotate unless power is applied to the cabin. But correct me if I'm wrong.
I think that the part is due to arrive either Saturday or late next week, but I am not completely accurate on that. Then it will take about a week to fix, test, and then open back up to the public. I'm sure that Mike will give us pictures on twitter.

Skytower was at the top on Sunday and the portholes in the tower were opened. Today it is no longer at the top. Perhaps it will be fixed soon.

Last time I seen Skytower it was up or down all day but never seen it run. That was two weeks ago.

Yeah the glass definitely in there now, It wasn't on Friday.

I remember when they replaced the windows when Intimidator went in. makes a world of difference in picture taking.

It would be so nice if it were to be reopened the week of June 8 when I'm visiting. This will be my partner's first trip there and would like for him to be able to ride it.
