Just wanted to let everybody know that registration will be at the South Gate (Top Gun entrance) instead of the North Gate. The gates will probably open around 7ish. (I'm sure most of y'all will be at the IHOP about that time.)

Hope everybody has a safe trip. If you see me, introduce yourself. I tend to be quiet at first then will eventually warm up and talk more

Stupid question here but do we travel all the way around and go thru the Parking terminals?

Yeah, just enter the park like you normally would and head for the backgate

Max, make sure they leave the south gate open for you after the closing ERT since most of the participants will be parked there. Last year, we had to exit the north gate and walk back to our cars at the south gate. Quite a haul! Anyway, hopefully they will have that better coordinated tomorrow.

C3 is short of Carolina Coaster Classic. The ACE (American Coaster Enthusiasts) Carowinds event.

This was my first year as an Acer and a participant at C3. I had a lot of fun!

Thanks Max for all you did! I know it must be a pain doing all that work, and you don't get paid anything other than maybe a pat on the back.

Thanks Wes. Its always a blast to plan this event. But, I must give all the credit to the PR department at the park: Scott, his lovely assistant, Natividad, and of course, David Mandt. I can give them the ideas; but, they're the ones who make it all happen. I'm gonna miss working with Scott but I still have Natividad and David to terrorize. Then, we'll have somebody new to break in in the form of Scott's replacement.

It seems that I never stop planning for C3. Even at the park yesterday, I was getting ideas for next year's activities and ERT.
