I don't know if all of these responses are making me feel like there is still hope, or is it a lost cause at this point...I mean, I managed to get two clicks pushing down hard on Apollo's Chariot before I even gave ANY effort to lose weight. Pretty much EVERYBODY from friends to family is telling me "Hey, have you lost weight?" so obviously it's a noticeable difference. All of my size 46 pants have become super loose, which is a good sign.

I'm not a religious man, but I'm honestly praying to God that I lost enough weight to make that third click.

For now, I'm still working on watching what I eat, I'm going to take up running/power walking in lieu of a broken elliptical machine.

A couple of questions here. First... the test seat doesn't let you know if the restraint will click far enough does it? I've never sat in it so I don't know for sure. The only test seat I ever tried had a loose restraint so you wouldn't get locked in. I saw a guy that was easily 300+ pounds with 2 attendants trying to staple him in before he had to leave without riding. I would think that 250 pounds would be ok but, like a previous post said, it's WHERE the weight is on your body. If it's all in your thighs, it may be a problem.

In any event, I don't think I would trust "one click" on any ride. Would you?... really? It's rare, but over the years, I have been stapled into rides and the restraint pop up a click during the ride. I've had that happen on lifts as well as on the ride. I don't like being stapled and it made the ride more comfortable physically but I didn't enjoy those rides because I was wondering if it was going to release some more. I'm 5'9" and 150lbs so i don't have a size problem. I think if I did, I surely wouldn't trust just one click.

Thanks :)

I highly doubt that 5'8 is "super short"

It really depends on your build. I'm 260, but I have normal legs (it's all in my belly). The bar goes right under my gut, an I'm good. My best friend is 250, but he's got bigger legs. He's been turned away from Intimidator when it's raining outside, but is barely OK otherwise. he hasn't been to F325 yet. If you have big thighs, you may have a problem. But as everyone else says, use the test seat. You may be pleasantly surprised. I went to Dollywood last week expecting to not make it onto Wild Eagle, and lo and behold, I made it.

Yea I'd say it all depends on build. I'm 5'6 and 220 pounds but I carry my weight in a very curvy way. I fit just fine. So much so that (depending on the ride op) I have quite a bit of extra room with the restraint. Granted there is one lady that will staple me in to the point the ride is uncomfortable, because instead of getting nice airtime, the top half of my body is just slung up while my lower half is tight against the seat. . Test seat is always a good option, but I will say this. My mom and I went to ride AC and she had put on some weight so she tried the test seat and it gave her the green light, we got on the ride and she, sadly, had to do the walk of shame. I'm sure that doesn't happen alot though.

Well tomorrow is the moment of truth....unfortunately Apollos Chariot is down at BGW so I have no way to judge whether I fit better or not. I'm certainly NOT bigger at all, but I have one final question. As of June, is it still two clicks to get on Fury or is it three. I read a story of a walk of shame by someone who didnt get the second click at first, but got it later on and got to ride. If its two clicks I don't forsee a problem because I got two clicks on Apollos Chariot last year.

Also, I should have mentioned this before, but yesterday at BGW, I managed to sit in the regular sized seats of Alpengeist and Griffon! Not only sit in them but get myself all the way down in the seat and sit comfortably with room to spare! A stark contrast from last year when the regular seats were crushingly tight and I could barely buckle the seatbelt and there was one incident of a near walk of shame on Great Bear at Hershey where they told me to sit in the larger seat in car 5. Even then, the big boy seats were getting really tight and uncomfortable to sit in.....

But now with 20lbs off my keister, I managed to sit in a regular B&M seat rather comfortably and was able to buckle the belt with ease...with room to spare! So I think I did pretty good for myself and my mother believes that if I was able to sit in the regular B&M seats comfortably and force myself down to two clicks on Apollo's Chariot last year even when I was REALLY out of shape, I should have no problems fitting onto Fury 325.

Ok, wish me luck....
