General Carowinds discussion

Sure do! :sarcasm:
Short of going Univerisal style, the policy seems hard to enforce. If Carowinds tossed out everyone that had their hands up on a coaster, they would be out of business. (Yes, when your hands are up they are techically out of the car.) I do believe it is getting the same way with cameras, the vast majority of loose articles I have seen fly away fall to the ground. I don't want to lose my stuff so I leave it in a locker.

It's all fun and games until a loose article puts out someone's eye. Last I checked, my arms and hands were attached to my body. I don't ever remember any park enforcing the keep all arms and legs inside the car "rule."

I assure you the hands up is a violation of "please keep hands, arms and feet inside the car at all times." The grab irons and hand holds are present for this reason. The park chooses not enforce the policy when hands are up in the air because they would be constantly escorting or warning guests. My information is per the Kings Island Rides Manager(he has in charge of Rides at Carowinds years ago).

Plus check park Issued media, during the shoot for Afterburn for Insane Coaster Wars, we were instructed to hold on the grabs irons at all times otherwise the footage could not be used.

Both of those rules are to limit the park's liability, so nothing more needs to be said.

On Memorial Day weekend the line for TR was relatively long, up to 5 train loads. Yesterday it was a walk on and I rode 4 times without leaving the station.
