Rode the Skytower today. I loved it! It has always been my tradition to ride this first as I enter the park and I really missed it last season.

^ Just watched that video a couple of minutes ago. The updated recording is actually much better than the old one. This one is focused on the history of the park while the old one seemed to be focused on ride additions.

Umm, $70 million. Whoever wrote the spiel is way off. Carowinds was built for $30 million and sold for $16 million. I know it is a useless fact but they should know their own history than I do. i could understand being off by 10 million but over double! Ok, I am better, end o' rant and back to my research I go.

Hopped on Skytower yesterday and I could have sworn it was rotating at the top longer than it used to. Maybe it's because It's been down for over a year or possibly the announcement is longer? Anyway, great day to take some pictures up there.
