Finally had my first gray-out ever today. It was after coming out of that first loop on Vortex. It probably didn't help that I was standing up, it was like my 17th coaster ride of the day, and I was a little dehydrated.

But it was super weird having one after reading about them for years. Anyone else had any?

Nope, never had one at Carowinds.

I gray out almost always pulling out of Afterburn's batwing. Entering Fury's horseshoe turn can do it too depending on the row I sit in.

But undoubtly I-305 has the most intense, sustained gray out I've experienced.

I305 for me also. I'm sure it could happen if I was in a similar situation (been at the park all day, dehydrated and dying from the heat), but that normally starts with a terrible headache and I probably wouldn't consider it happening just because of the coaster. In that case, I think you are giving Vortex a bit too much credit, lol. I305, though.. happens every time.

I've never had a gray out, not even on I305. But, I did for the first time today experience getting dizzy on a coaster. Happened on Cyclone and Afterburn. That's about as close to a gray out as I've ever gotten!

Yeah, I was embarrassed that it was the stupid Vortex that did it. I'd rather claim it was Goldrusher. But I'm just assuming that being dehydrated, the heat, and having ridden soooo many coasters that day, it kind of built up to a cumulative effect.

Never at carowinds... I305 and believe it or not Backlot stunt coaster. The upward helix right at the beginning after the launch. The sustained helix got me once when i was dehydrated and very relaxed.

I grey out while going up Fury's first hill after the drop if I'm in one of the back seats, and I have also greyed out on Vortex, Cyclone, and Afterburn. But I have never greyed out on any rides outside of Carowinds...

I havnt since i305 was altered, if you rode it when it opened, it was a little more intense.

I went through a phase where I grayed out every single time I rode Afterburn. This was maybe like 2011-2013? I also would gray out occasionally on other rides and I think I grayed out much worse on I305 in 2013. Idk, but I think it was all part of some other underlying problem, because I was graying out a lot those days just in normal situations, like walking around my house... Like almost once a day.

That stopped though.. I've only grayed out maybe 3 times in the last year when I stand up too fast or something, which seems normal. And the last 2 summers I haven't grayed out on any rides except maybe on Afterburn but just barely a little bit. (I've only been to Carowinds and SFNE in the past 2 years so far though)

On my third consecutive ride on Fury, coming out of the turnaround gave me a headache for some reason. As far as I know, I've never grey'd out.

I tend to grey out slightly for a moment on Afterburn.
