Intimidator was down almost the whole day when I was there earlier this week, so I didn't get to do a solid comparison. From my memory, I feel like Intimidator was a slightly more enjoyable ride because to me it was smoother. We got put in the second row on Fury one round, and I don't know why but it was really rough. The people we sat with commented on it too when we hit the break run.

But as far as the rides themselves go I think they both give totally different experiences. Until I ride fury a few more times, I don't know if I can make a confident choice in saying which ride I like better. Regardless, they're both excellent coasters and I'm super happy to see them in my home park.

My second ride on Fury was that way. It was teeth-chattering rough. I was in the right-side seat on row 4. Thankfully, that wasn't my FIRST ride on Fury or I may not have gotten back on. My first ride was silk-smooth in front row left-side. Every ride since that second one has been smooth as well. Maybe it was the train. Maybe it was something on the wheel or a bad wheel under my seat. I don't know but it DEFINITELY was NOT a good experience.

Most of the rides I've had on Fury are not smooth. They have bad vibrations. I think because it's a new ride, it has to break itself in but I'm not 100% sure.

Really? I can only feel the vibrations on the last two camelbacks but the rest of the ride was glass smooth. I find Intimidator to be the roughest of the two.

To me it felt like a bad wheel. Like a burr on the wheel or a flat spot or something like that. It was vibrating fast enough to be every revolution of a wheel anyway. It was bad enough that I wanted to get off immediately. Bad enough that it needs to be checked out. (Have never felt anything like that on intimidator when it was new or since)

^^ Most of the rough rides were in row 4, 5, and 7. I have no idea of what train I was on but I felt horrible vibrations from when we dropped until the helix. It actually kind of hurt and gave me a slight headache. If I ride on the middle seats of the row, I have no problem. It's just when I'm sitting on the wheel seats. Same thing for Intimidator.

Finally got to ride Fury in the front row yesterday. Can I change my vote? :)

Honestly, that was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. Before, having ridden it only in the other rows, I felt like it wasn't any better than Intimidator (and in some ways worse). The front row changed everything for me...

With my experience riding last week: Fury 325 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Intimidator.
Compared to most folks on this forum I was in a unique position to have had my first ride on both on the same day (since the last time I was at the park was in 2008 before this). I rode Intimidator first and enjoyed it. It was pretty standard for a B&M hyper. It had nice floater airtime, but the trims killed it...along with the MCBR). It was better than Goliath @ SFOG to me, but still place it just below Apollo's Chariot. Once I rode it it was the tallest coaster I had ridden as well. That was until I went over and hopped on Fury 325. My first ride was assigned to the 5th row. Even there it blew Intimidator out the water. It was filled with airtime. I could feel the trim, but it actually added to the airtime on that hill. My next ride the next day I got the back row and it was even better (Fury 325 Back Row>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Middle-5th Row). On the first drop I was out of my seat most of the way down. I believe it will now be my new #1.
