Thanks for the suggestion, Edwardo - I looked it up and was tempted, but as it turns out we weren't able to make it there for dinner. I'll try to remember it if I'm ever in the area again. From what I saw online, it sounds like the food is good but the decor may be what makes the place..? Lol
RollerBee wrote:^I loved all the trees and hills around the park! Batman is my favorite invert and Superman is my favorite flying. Georgia Cyclone was fun but rougher than Hurler as was GASM. Deja Vu was simply awesome as was Goliath. Mindbender was different and surprising. The Mine Train was surprisingly rough but Goldrusher look like nothing!
You know, this was actually my first visit to a Six Flags. I have mixed feelings about the park in general, but I completely agree.. the trees and even things like the bridges and pavers were really nice touches. I hadn't expected to have so many coasters going around trees.. I know we all think it, but it reinforced that dream of Carowinds one day having more (full grown) trees.
I do have to say.. Batman: The Ride is still backwards, so we went on that once. Not a huge fan of backwards things so wasn't too excited about that but it was so smooth compared to Afterburn. (I don't know if it just hasn't been good days but it has been rough as heck lately with the cardinal train)
