^I loved all the trees and hills around the park! Batman is my favorite invert and Superman is my favorite flying. Georgia Cyclone was fun but rougher than Hurler as was GASM. Deja Vu was simply awesome as was Goliath. Mindbender was different and surprising. The Mine Train was surprisingly rough but Goldrusher look like nothing!

Does anyone here have an apple watch? I have an iPhone 6 and a ton of birthday money and am considering getting one. I got tons of notifications (texts, ESPN, Instagram, emails ect.) and think I would get a ton of use out of it. How useful have you found it ? What bands are the best? Would you recommend it?

San Diego Padres @ Atlanta Braves game... starts at 7:10. You can make it by the 2nd or 3rd inning.

Thanks for the suggestion, Edwardo - I looked it up and was tempted, but as it turns out we weren't able to make it there for dinner. I'll try to remember it if I'm ever in the area again. From what I saw online, it sounds like the food is good but the decor may be what makes the place..? Lol

You know, this was actually my first visit to a Six Flags. I have mixed feelings about the park in general, but I completely agree.. the trees and even things like the bridges and pavers were really nice touches. I hadn't expected to have so many coasters going around trees.. I know we all think it, but it reinforced that dream of Carowinds one day having more (full grown) trees.

I do have to say.. Batman: The Ride is still backwards, so we went on that once. Not a huge fan of backwards things so wasn't too excited about that but it was so smooth compared to Afterburn. (I don't know if it just hasn't been good days but it has been rough as heck lately with the cardinal train)

I HATED Batman Backwards. So much that even when we had ERT on it at Spring Fling, I only rode it once. I haven't ridden it forwards, so I'm looking forward to going back after they turn it back and experiencing it the way it was intended to be! I have to say that Ninja was one of my least favorite coasters ever, and that the mine train was excruciatingly painful. But I loved Mindbender and Daredevil Dive. And Georgia Scorcher puts Vortex to shame. Goliath was awesome, too. Dare I say I like it better than Intimidator??? We spent 3 days at SFOG in April (1 full day at the ACE event, the evening before, and the morning after. I liked it a lot, but I went in expecting a Six Flags experience, not a Cedar Fair experience. (Or a Herschend experience, or a Disney experience, or a Universal experience, or a Sea World/Busch Gardens experience...) I think having realistic expectations made me enjoy it a lot more. Oh, and knowing that we got our tickets for a bargain made it much easier to impress me.

Great. Now I'm hungry for one of their burgers...

Out of high school already??????

^Amen to that, being an adult can really be a drag. I remember I couldn't wait to be out of high school, damn if I wouldn't mind having teenage problems compared to real world problems.

I also have only been out of high school one year but I kind of miss it. I did basically nothing my freshman year, so my main advice would be to get involved. I was in more than 10 clubs my junior and senior year and I loved it. But I am the kind of person who loves being busy, so do you what YOU like, even if it is only 1 or 2 activities. Also make sure you make time to make new friends and hang out with them. You will miss your high school friends after you graduate, even if you move on to bigger and better things.

What I really miss these days is college. High school was OK, but you could find out that some of your "friends" weren't really your friends after all. See how many you keep in touch with after you graduate from high school.
