There was a dog on it today!! Just laying inside where you first get on, super chill. Black lab, I think. Has anyone else seen it? I don't know who it belonged to.. hahaha

When I rode a few weeks ago, the dog was on there too. Sleeping.

I rode the Skytower last year and there was a dog then. I asked the ride operator if it was a service dog, and he said yes. He told me that he had a medical condition that was causing him to lose his vision, and that he had been paired with the service dog to help him after he completely loses it. My guess would be that it's the same service dog and the same ride operator. Hopefully his still operating the ride is a good indication that he hasn't completely lost his vision yet.

That's awesome. That makes skytower 75% better already, and I still haven't ridden it yet.

What shift does this operator work (what time did you ride when the dog was on)?

I'm going to be really disappointed now if I go and ride it for the first time and there isn't a black lab. My wife will love it too, it'll be a good surprise for her to see a black lab on a ride at Carowinds. We miss our old black labs terribly. We've got a yellow one now, who is just a nut case. She's a wonderful dog, but still a nut case.

It was around noon last Tuesday when I rode it, but he wasn't on it then. I saw him there last spring.
