The kids meal at the chicken place by cobra across from the water park.

Ok, I'll say it as one of the resident tightwads: The cheapest place to eat at Carowinds is the parking lot. :D

If I were there from opening to closing I would take Coasterbruh's advice.

I was there today everything was a walk on all day!!!! It was awesome. Front seat on Fury 7 times!!!! Rode 13 times today. The front seat is way better than the back on this one

We walked past Flying Ace Chase coaster the other day, and it had no line. So we rode it for the first time ever.

Wow. That thing is bad. I wasn't expecting a thrilling ride, and I didn't get one. What I didn't expect was the most head banging I've ever experienced. NIghthawk and Vortex, even Hurler and TR ride like a dream in comparison. I'd rather put a small kid on any other coaster in the park before I let them ride that thing. I need to update my ranking of Carowinds coasters. Vortex has been promoted. There's a new worst coaster on the list.

^The clone at Wild Adventures is much better. I didn't even ride it last week while there as the last time in '08 gave me a headbanging headache. If they could get the new style trains (like on Freedom Flyer @ Fun Spot) it would make it re-rideable and fun.

Well...I tried the pizza for the first time and it was great! Fresh and hot out of the oven. They couldn't keep enough in rotation. Everyone was getting it!

Which restaurant did you try it at?

Also noting that the state line now has a sign marking it's location in Soak City....err...Boomerang Bay.

The pizza I got was from Harmony Hall. I do not remember the name of the place. Mine was also very hot and it was quite large for a personal pizza to say the least. You could tell the dough was home made and nothing was frozen and taken out of the wrapping. Definitely a good choice if you are looking for something to eat at the park!

I too went to harmony hall, went back and got the tenders and fries. The tenders were cooked fresh, I had to wait for them, and my 10 year old cousin and myself ate off one plate and we were both full. I don't see the disdain I have read con earning the food. I've never had a bad meal...

I also had the chicken and I have to agree. They were hot, the sidewinder fries were really good, and I didn't even eat all of it because I was full.

I absolutely agree the pizza in harmony hall is delicious and the hot Italian sub with the pasta salad that's on the meal plan. My god son and I shared the sub plate and both were full. I also agree with everyone who haven't had bad experiences with food. With me if it doesn't look fresh I simply ask for a fresh plate and 9 out 10 they will. I'll happily wait.
