They also (fittingly) play the Lil Bow Wow "basketball" song by the 3 point challenge a lot.

^^ & ^ I had a great conversation last night with the young man working the line/entrance at Skytower and he said he liked everything about his job except the "noise" from the 3-Point challenge. The repetition and volume REALLY bothered him.

I'm sure hearing Space Jam and Gangnam Style all day over and over is enough to drive anyone to madness.

I guess Carowinds changed their playlist.

In the Carolina Boardwalk section of the park, I would hear the following songs:

Ocean Boulevard - Band of Oz (The beach/shag song with all of the trumpets)
Duke of Earl - Gene Chandler
I Love Beach Music - Embers
Carolina Girls - Chairmen of the Board
New York State of Mind - Billy Joel

I miss the 50s Rock 'N Roll and 60s music they used to play in Thrill Zone.

Can't Get No Satisfaction - Rolling Stones would play in the Carowinds Plaza near Nighthawk and the Intimidator
Dance to the Music - Sly & The Family Stone would be played too over and over again.
I heard Gwen Stefani's Sweet Escape A LONG time ago in Planet Snoopy.

Here are some song suggestions:

In Boomerang Bay, they should play What I Like About You by The Romantics or Walking On Sunshine by Katrina & The Waves. They both have that upbeat great pool getaway/beach vibe to it! Try some Bob Marley and some steel drum music (Tropical Bird by Jamaican Steel Band, Baha Men, Beach Boys (Kokomo/Surfin' USA), etc.) too!

What great memories of songs played in the park!

I remember when Planet Snoopy was Nickelodean Central, they used to play a clean version of "High School Never Ends" (I guess it was likely a cover) I remember hearing it and not knowing what song it was but thinking it might have been a theme song to some tv show on Nick. Anyway, now I think it's funny that they played that song since the original version is pretty inappropriate for young kids.

Metal. Not that that would ever happen though. I have been to Scarowinds before, and it's awesome.

We need SLIPKNOT and maybe some A7X for the children.

 How many times did you hear down with the sickness?

Alright, so I contacted carowinds not once, but Twice after a few days of no response in request for a list of music from previous years. Keep in mind this was about 2 weeks ago. I stated that I knew it might not be possible, but I also left my email so they could send an email no matter what. I am slightly angered that I received no response whatsoever, and I was really looking forwards to having the playlist shared with me, and forwarded on to CC. Oh well

If anyone is interested, we could start like a Spotify playlist to add all the songs we hear.

That's a good idea. I didn't know you could do that!
