all that's left to do now is paint two extra fences, paint 30 of my 700 people the carowinds uniform, then pack everything and get ready for delivery tomorrow!

Well, I'm packing up the model and we're heading out tomorrow morning!
I won't have an update until tomorrow night or Tuesday night.

Just seen it in Harmony Hall. I all can say is WOW!!!! My family and I are very impressed. GREAT WORK.

I'll have pictures later tonight. We left Harmony Hall by around 5:30 and we left the park at 6pm. We had not gotten any sleep the night before, so we thought it best to go ahead and go home (2.5 hour trip up north) I got back home by 9:15 or so. I have lots of video and pictures to sort through.

Now the placement of the model. due to how busy the foyer gets sometimes, we thought it best to place the model to the left of the stage. Right as you walk into Harmony Hall from the patio, it's right there in plain sight.

Now it's time to start a new project, as well as a small side project...

Model is amazing in person and a sight to behold and a fitting tribute to the "Old Entrance" i was their taking pictures when you were painting it but didn't want to disturb the artist. but it it a beautiful piece of art, im glad i could get some pictures before the glass was put around it, i went back to view it right before we left the park and the glass was around the model but it was already filthy with fingerprints again all that aside it is a wonderful model ! id love to see a thunder road model or the sternwheeler made by you !

I thought that was you Ty. I wouldn't have minded you talking to me. I would paint while doing so. I had already been working on it that morning for 4.5 hours. I decided to not add all the people on it for two reasons. 1) it would have taken another hour to add them. and 2) it looks better without them on it.
But it's finished and now I can make plans for the next project.

the glass was around the model but it was already filthy with fingerprints

It's a good thing that we put it on. We placed the plexi-glass on at around 12:30 pm. Not 10 minutes after we done so, there were several children touching the glass and whatnot. I'm happy that even the kids enjoy looking at it.
By the way, there will soon be a top piece of plexi-glass on it.
