The only S&S Coaster that has Iron Horse track from RMC is the latest, Batman at SFFT. If I recall Correctly, all previous S&S track was fabricated by the same factory that previously fabricated Arrow (which S&S purchased), and may have been owned by S&S.

I rode Rougarou this past week, and Wow. It is awesome. The transformation is great for this ride. It is super smooth for the first 3/4, and gets a bit bumpy towards the last bit, but overall it is really great. I hope we see rouga-vortex soon!

I returned to CP for the first time in 10 years. Below are some random thoughts/reviews from my two day visit on the 22nd and 23rd.

The good:
1. Millennium Force as good as it was in 2005. Ran 3 trains on Monday and 2 on Tuesday. Average wait was between 30-45 minutes.
2. TTD wait time was usually no more than 30 minutes.
3. Maverick was nice, a little rough through the quick transitions.
4. Gemini, excellent and walk onboth days.
5. Magnum running 3 trains, keeping wait times down to a minimum.
6. Wicked Twister gave some nice runs.
7. Gate Keeper looks nice and seemed reliable during my stay.
8. I loved Max Air and Sky Hawk (wish Carowinds could at least get one of these).
9. Blue Streak ran nice.
10. Mean Streak didn't kill me or even give me much of a headache.
11. Rougarou trains looked nice and were comfortable.

The not so good:
1. Majority of the staff I had to interact with were either rude, not helpful, uncaring or all the above. I don't remember it being that bad on previous visit.
2. 50 cents charge for my wife to drop me and the kids off. Really, what's the point?
3. Lots of downtime on numerous coasters, TTD, Rougarou, Magnum, Raptor.
4. Rougarou conversion average at best. The ride was not as bad as Mantis, but still rougher than other Floorless coasters I've ridden.
5. Gate Keeper looked nice but didn't overwhelm me at all. Fury 325 is a better centerpiece for our front gate.
6. Don't even get me started on the locker rentals. The walk from Magnum to the TTD lockers wouldn't be bad if they didn't block the pathway from the Magnum side.
7. Rode Slingshot with my nephew. Wanted to purchase on ride video for his mother. After the ride ($50) went to purchase $20 video and the 2 ladies behind the counter were laughing and said that the computer froze and they were unable to capture the video. When i suggested they allow us to ride again for free (since there was no paying customers in line) to get another shot at a video (which i was still willing to buy) they laughed the idea off and wouldnt even call a manager to check if it was okay.
8. Bathrooms were not well maintained.
9. Food average at best.
10. Bugs were out of control. Someone said it was due to long winter and the pest were May Flies that usually hatch much sooner than June and usually gone by now.

Overall experience was not as good as I remember it being in the past. Hard to believe that CF would allow some of this at their flagship park.

Good Morning guys...

Not sure if this was the right area to post this, but has anyone ever checked out the live cams at CP? They must have a dedicated webcam person that monitors these cams because the pan, tilt and zoom features are used daily if not hourly.

Check them out here and who do we see about getting Carowinds to change our webcam views daily?

I remember riding Wicked Twister, Maggie and Millie and being COVERED in dead ones when I got back in the station. Literally having to ride with my hands over my face.
