What annoys me is that every time I've seen Fast Lane people get on, they always get Row 1 (keep in mind I've only ridden Fury like 10 times so it may not be the case all the time) But the thing is that if a Fast Lane person wants to wait for row 1, even if it is already filled for the next train, the ride op lets them go wait for it. (I saw this on at least 2 separate occasions) I already really dislike the idea of any kind of fast pass (even the ones that work differently like Disney's) so it just makes me angry.

I think Fury should have preferred seating allowed. They can still assign seats, but if you specifically ask for a certain row then they can let you go wait behind the people for that row. Can someone please explain to me why this isn't an option? I know that I can get fired up pretty easily haha, but this is one thing that continually makes me upset every time I think about it. I will literally rant to someone for an hour about the no preferred seating if they let me (thankfully none of my friends let me). Anyway can someone explain the rationality behind their procedures? Probably if I understood their reasoning it would not be a big deal to me (like fast passes; I dislike them but I get over it) Thanks.

nice quote...

What is the most memorable thing a guest has said to you?
There was one particular guest that I would see almost every year, and not just in one park, but several parks. He would always say, “Gee, can’t you build a roller coaster that’s 1,000 feet tall and goes a zillion miles an hour?” I didn’t want to tell him that it just wouldn’t be commercially viable. This year, we opened Fury 325 at Carowinds [located partly in Charlotte, N.C., and partly in Fort Mill, S.C.], and sure enough, he’s there. He said, “You know, you’re getting better at this.”

Rode fury twice yesterday once in the front far right seat and once in the very back far right seat. I still can't keep my eyes open in the very front row and I forgot my shades at home Hahahahaha. I'm getting better at my Fury squint

The travel channel's show on Fury is due to air sometime this month, unless they've changed it. The park will be sure to let us know on when they release it.

I"m so used to riding Fury on the far left side that I rode once on the right (front) and I didn't like it for some reason.
Now I will just ride on the far left. The turn right before the turnaround (when riding on the front right) seemed to throw me hard to the right. I'm not complaining.
But I prefer the left side over the right.

I believe the documentary is supposed to air in August. I tried to dig up the tweet mentioning it, but I could not find it.

I personally enjoy the far right as it is more forceful than the left side. The the s-curve is much tighter and the turn before the horseshoe dive throws you out of your seat! The only downside is that the airtime on the horseshoe is weaker on the right side than it is on the far left.

I will be completely honest, my first day riding Fury wasn't that great. I rode mostly on the left middle seat but I don't remember whether or not I sat on the right side that day, I think I rode it like 8 times. I liked the ride but I found it rough. I would've probably picked Intimidator over Fury that day.

However, my 1st ride next trip was amazing! I was on the far right side. If every ride on Fury was that good it might be my favorite coaster, or close to it (though I don't actually rank coasters as it's too hard to compare different rides) I guess it really depends on a lot of other factors too but for now I'll be inclined to sit on the far right unless another experience changes my mind.
