I don't recall seeing this one before, it says "permits required 1, issued 0". "Bath house" I assume would be for the main changing rooms in Boomerang Bay.

It is also interesting that this refers to a North Carolina permit. Most all of the "expansion area" is in South Carolina unless this is for something out where the current Thunder Road turnarounds are. (I guess if they replaced the current changing facility with a new one they'd need permits from both states since the state line bisects it.)

My guess is the changing rooms are two separate buildings because of the hallway down the middle where the state line is.

Does anyone know if the park is going to tease what is to come in 2016 or if the announcement is just going to happen spur of the moment like with the 2014 Boomerang Bay expansion.

Most big hoopla media days for announcements are reserved for coaster and major...major Announcements. I don't really see them rolling out the red carpet for next years announcement...

That's a little disappointing to hear, I'm really hoping the addition will turn Boomerang Bay into an Aquatica-esque park. Then again, Volcano Bay was announced basically out of nowhere. I also don't want to rejoin Team-Bee.

Hold that thought. I was reminded by a CC god of the verbiage at last years announcement that will somehow bring us back to the park for this years announcement...

Yeah but Windseeker had it's own big announcement, media day, etcetera. So that doesn't mean that we're getting the mother of all expansions in 2016.
