We went to Boomerang Bay, and were going to rent a locker to store our cell phones, but since they were $18 we decided not to. Our cell phones were left in our bags, and no one bothered them. Has anyone else had any experience with phones either being left alone or stolen? Trying to decide what to do on our next trip. Thanks in advance.

Get a locker outside of the water park. I think it's cheaper.

$18 for small in BB is all I have seen. I have seen Carowinds prices for standard size vary from $13 to 18. I would trust leaving my stuff in the open, and if someone offers to sell you a locker code at a discounted or free price. Don't do it and report it to the nearest Security Guard, the park is investigating such occurrences.

It would pay for itself in less than one trip to the waterpark. I've paid $13 for a small locker on a weekday earlier this year, but it was $18 on Father's Day. I don't know if they increase the prices on high volume days or if the price just went up.

I believe it is based on predicted attendance because I have seen prices in Carowinds go up on one visit then down the next. I will report back on locker prices tomorrow.

Here's my water park protection........ Zip lock bag and a paper towel. That's a sandwich sized bag with my iPhone 6 in it. Even on days that I'm not planning on doing the water park I'll go and stand under the fountains and soak my entire body to keep cool and my phone has never gotten wet with the bag and paper towel. You can even still hear your phone ringing through the bag!!!!!

I don't often frequent the water park. However, when I do I usually put my stuff in a bag and hide it in a second level of a tree. One I even used a bicycle lock to lock the bag to the tree. No one has bothered my stuff anytime I've done that.
