Buy frm a private seller (save money).
Have a trusted mechanic look it all over before you buy, This should only cost less than $50 and is worth every bit of it. Tell them to tell you each and every thing wrong with the truck. Mechanics love telling you what's wrong.

That's all I got.

Best advice ever on buying a used car. It's saved me a ton of money over the years...

I love driving a stick. I remember when I was young and my dad worked for carmax he would take cars home sometimes and anytime he had a corvette (or anything fast) he would let me shift (obviously now I can do it myself). I'm having trouble finding a ranger in good enough condition with my budget. The 90's F-150s seem to be in the best condition for the money. I've been looking on Craigslist. If anyone is looking for cars on Craigslist be ware, there are TONS of scams and people trying to get your money saying things like "I'm a military officer training to leave the country and would need to ship you the car/truck". I find it extremely offensive people use the military as a cover for a scam.

Is anyone else getting this or has my computer gotten something? Currently accessing the site from the .jonathanhawkins address we used last time the site went down.

Completely unrelated to what I said above (but this is the offtopic thread after all ;)), I am leaving for SFNE tomorrow to get some rides on some RMC awesomeness. I can't wait, this is my second most anticipated trip of the summer after Carowinds of course :P

I got that same message a few minutes ago. I thought it would eventually go away, but when I entered the address for CarowindsZone, I put a .com at the end instead of a .net. Led me to a malicious website, so I was forced to clear my cache/cookies. Seems to be fine now.
