Construction is well underway.

What do you guys think will happen for Kings Dominion next year? I think that it would make sense for them to get a B&M hyper called Fury, since we got Intimidator when they got Intimidator 305, but that would be a little unoriginal, and Cedar Fair (or Cedar Point at least) has been coming up with some pretty creative names like Rougarou and Valrvan lately. :? Just speculating...

There was a rumor that their next coaster won't be until 2017 and whatever it is, I can't imagine it being a hyper. For one thing, they already have a giga and for another, there is already a B&M hyper just an hour away. But I've been wrong many times before so I suppose it is possible.

Regardless of when they add one, it won't be a B&M unless they remove one of their own or buy one second hand.

I would imagine that the B&M contract with Busch Gardens will probably end pretty soon. Maybe 2017 since that will be 20 years since Alpengeist.

Why stop there? Are the Cyclone clones too twisted to attempt? Wasn't there a rumor that SFStL's Boss was on the list for RMCing.

I just watched the POV of Roar and it looks as painful as Gwazi. Being that the ride has a similar type layout and opened the same year I wouldn't be surprised. Good riddens....lol

I said the same thing Dave. I rode it last week and it was evident that the park was closing it because they completely stopped taking care of it. I mean, there is no way a GCI should EVER run the way Roar was.

. 2016 - New Attraction - Rumor - (7/20/15) So what does Dorney Park have planned for 2016? We're not sure yet, but a new rumor sent in to us claims that it may be time for the park to install a new big coaster, or some kind of major attraction. Where? We may have an answer to that as well, as some ground work and survey markings were spotted behind Steel Force that may give us an idea about the location of whatever is planned.

Whatever it is I hope it's something good since I'll be visiting for the first time next year. But now that I think about it, it could just be Shockwave.

^ Or Thunder Road

EDIT: From what I have heard, Twisted Twins is going to become "Storm Chaser" next year as an RMC. I'm not positive this is true though...

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —Kentucky Kingdom will announce details about a new roller coaster to be added to the theme park for next season.

Roller coaster fans have a new reason to visit Kentucky Kingdom.

Storm Chaser, a $15 million addition to the amusement park, will be the marquee attraction of the 2016 season.

Storm Chaser is part of a new category of roller coasters, constructed of wood and steel, but not a hybrid.

The coaster announcement comes just a few weeks after the grand opening of new ride T3 and will be the second brand new coaster added since the park reopened 14 months ago.

The new addition will give the amusement park five roller coasters.
