I figure that the reason that there haven't been more Stingray models made is because of their bad capacity, 525 riders per hour. They may be maintenance nightmares as some Vekoma's tend to be. (Stinger)

The Stingray looks like a Zacspin and a Flying Dutchman had some sort of morbid, deformed love child. :?

Freedom Flyer is actually quite enjoyable. If Carowinds put the new restraints on Flying Ace Aerial Chaise, it would be a much better coaster.

I never thought I'd be promoting a Vekoma coaster but we enjoyed Freedom Flyer enough to ride it a few times instead of just getting the credit.

If nothing else, have him hold a sign or something, hearing people laughing about it was interesting.

Vekoma makes some good coasters, unfortunetly their bad ones are the most cloned. Everest, rock n roller coaster, 7 dwarfs mine train, flight of the hipogriff, life in the fast lane..etc are really good coasters. I personally wouldn't be excited to have that family shuttle at carowinds. A little too basic. Their ben 10 one looks more excited...

Ah, I forgot about Everest and Seven Dwarfs. They are also quality coasters.

Great article about Jerry. Thanks for sharing that!

So I was just killing time, browsing various POVs on YouTube when I came across a ride I've never seen before. It's a Vekoma and it's called Python and it's located at Efteling Amusement Park in the Netherlands. What I found interesting was, it has the same layout as Arrow's Carolina Cyclone.
Has anyone else noticed this? I'm sure I'm late to this party.

I think it's the same gauge track but I've been wrong before.
