I had one bad ride Sunday on I believe it was the 3rd row of one of the trains, but even that wasn't that bad. I wonder how often they have to change the wheels on the trains? I wouldn't be surprised if they burn up pretty quickly.

Considering the comments here, that's very hard to believe. I've experienced that vibration on probably more than 90% of my rides. I heard others complaining about it getting off the ride as well. The lady that rode back-to-back-to-back with us last Thursday commented that its a ton better in the front. I agree. When I rode front seat on the left side I don't think I felt it at all.

I've only ridden Fury 43 times and on most of them, I've noticed a vibration which was not really noticeable on some seats, but very noticeable on others. Even though in some cases it was very noticeable, it was not that bad. I even got several rides on Intimidator and noticed a very small vibration.

I do think Fury is rough. It seems different than the roughness on a ride like Hurler though. I can't really explain what's happening exactly on Fury, but I just get a headache every time (I'm not one of those people who gets headaches all the time; in my daily life I would say I get headaches the same amount or probably less than the average person) For some reason I just feel like I'm being shaken around every time I ride it, and that part is not enjoyable. I felt like my 2 friends I went with did not feel the same way, though. So I really don't know.

I get a headache toward the back of the train but not the front. It seems my mouth is completely dry and cotton mouthed right after going under the bridge. Seems to happen everytime at the turnaround. Just my experience. But I've nevet felt a rattle or vibration and I've ridden at least 20 something times.

I guess this is an opinion whether or not this ride is "rough". Also, I don't know who said it was rough because its not a rough ride.. didn't mean for this to get blown way out of proportion  Fury is a great ride, but there is a noticeable vibration.

It's not rough, it's just shaky. Out of the 88 times I've been on Fury, only 20 rides or so have been without that vibration. I think this has to do with me always wanting to ride on the outside seats right over the wheels. Ride in the middle seats for the smoother ride. Avoid wheel seats. Intimidator is the same way. I think the wheels are fine. I think the issue is that some bolts on the wheel assembly need to be tightened. Next time you ride Fury, look down where the wheels are and you'll see a bluish line that marked on the screw and on the assembly itself. They need to be lined up so that the lines touch each other. Sometimes, they're not. You can see a line drawn on Intimidator as well. They do this for the track both as well. While waiting in line for Intimidator, look at the footers that connect to the supports that support the transfer track and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Another thing I noticed is back in April when Fury had those nylon wheels in row 4 and 5. Fury was smoother to me when I was riding in those rows with the white nylon wheels then it was when riding with the yellow polyurethane wheels. Has anybody else noticed this? Does Leviathan have this problem?

Haha, one more thing I noticed. When Intimidator first opened back in 2010, they used the tannish polyurethane wheels from Uremet. I think they switched to the yellow polyurethane wheels from Uremet in 2012. Ever since, the ride hasn't been as smooth to me but still not that bad. Maybe Fury should use the tan wheels since the yellow ones aren't doing too well since we can't use those really fast Nylon wheels in this hot weather. Any thoughts? I have more observations but I'll save those for later.

Okay the issue seems to be how people define the word "rough" but like I said, Fury's "roughness" is different than Hurler's, but I can't think of a way to describe it. Yes I guess "shaky" is what I mean when I say rough. It just hurts.

I don't feel it on the lift or the first drop, just after that. Also I do avoid the end seats most of the time. I've ridden in the left middle seat a majority of my rides.

^Yeah.. Like I said before, I don't know who said it was rough. Rough as in Hurler or rough as in a vibration? Obviously it's not Hurler rough. By the way I meant to ask this earlier but whoever won the scav. hunt thing during MC3, what was the silver thing?

On your way out of the park next time. Go up to the footer / support beams on the left side exit. (near the bus parking lot)
There is a grassy field you can walk onto right off the path and put your hands onto the support beam. It's really amazing to feel all of that force going through your body. transferring through the pipe.

I saw a group of kids doing it once and tried it myself. Really floored me, I didnt expect those beams to take so much load.

No haha.. I'm talking about the thing that those two kids won. I think someone said it was like an end cap or something? I don't know where my head was when they said what it was but I saw them walking away with it.

Hard to believe? I'm not the only person with that opinion and even if I wasn't the only one saying that why would lie about something so trivial.

I have felt the vibration sometimes and other times smooth as glass. I never really paid attention to where I was sitting when I felt it and when I didn't.
