I'll show you . . . :shh:

Can I get in on this? :D

Also correct me if I'm wrong but won't this make Boomerang Bay/Carolina Harbor/Whatever the hell its called the biggest water park in the chain next year as far as pure number of attractions go?

The Kings Island waterpark is pretty large; I'm not sure this will be on that level yet.

Or will that just make them want to add more to the water park?

I actually hope the attendance bump next year pales in comparison to this year's so it reinforces to them that coasters, not water park crap, are what they should add mostly.

I hate to be that guy but I'm almost positive you're gonna get a bigger rush for this than fury. This expansion is something the eipntire family can enjoy. There is something in this from infants to thrillseekers alike. The target audience is much larger than fury 325's. Just the separate entrance is gonna win over a ton of people. We have to look at things from the vantage point of what the park needs to succeed. The park can be empty but the water park jam packed. The market is there for the water park and its obvious with two expansions back to back vs years between new attractions over there. I'm excited, naturally as a water park person and a fan of carowinds. Everything the park adds (windseeker, starlight spectacular) doesn't cater to me and my needs but I welcome it because its only improving the line up.

Am I'm gonna miss TR yes, but I have faith that the park will fill that inbetween coaster void sooner than later. I'm not gonna tell you guys how to think or react to this news. I just wish some of you guys would look at this with more of an open mind and look towards the bigger picture.

Oh I totally agree with you Coasterbruh that this is a bigger deal to more people.
I said I hope the attendance bump is less.
That's just me personally. I'd rather they focus on thrill rides, but I'm aware that the water park is a huge attraction for many people, especially families.

Do you have any idea how selfish that sounds? The park needs to cater only to you? And you think if they try to cater to the other 2 million+ people that attend the park, they deserve to not reach their attendance goal? And I thought Rollerbee was bad....

I thought I was in TPR for a second after reading this post... Anyways, does anybody have any guesses on what the slide complex holds?
