Hey! I don't know how people feel about this but I have an idea for a thread (this one) in which people can post when they are going to be at the park, so that if other members are visiting that day, they can say hi/meetup/whatever.

Obviously if you're going but you don't want random members talking to you, then you have no obligation to post here. But for me, I don't know most CC members, and for some I may recognize, I might be too afraid to say hello or to ask if they are from CC. But if they had posted "Hey I'll be at the park today, feel free to say hello" then it wouldn't be scary! People don't have to become best friends or even talk for more than 5 seconds, but I just would be interested in meeting other members and connecting faces with names (:

That being said, I'll be there tomorrow (technically today) Aug 2, after about 1pm. I'll be wearing a white 2008 Carowinds tank top. I look like the person in my CC profile pic because that happens to be me. So come say hi!

It's funny you post this, we used to have a specific sub forum for meetups, but it would always attract SO MUCH SPAM that we had to get rid of it. We think it was the term "meetup" that attracted the spambots.

Anyway, here's hoping this thread gets some use. Not quite sure when my next visit will be though.
