So apparently Fury goes over an airtime hill before entering the barrel turn.

Interesting, I never noticed.

I hope Carowinds gets a new sign eventually. Something more modern and attention-getting than the current one. Something like Cedar Point's sign would be nice. I might draw a concept what I'd like to see later.

EDIT: Here's my idea:

Off topic however Happy National Rollercoaster Day!! What is everyone doing to celebrate? I went to Holiday World yesterday and man Thunderbird is amazing. The forced on the launch and thought the ride are spectacular and the zero roll through barn was amazing (sit on the left side it's a right up the stairs in the line tho) Today is Beech Bend Park. I'm excited to finally get on an Air Race flat. Tuesday is 6flags Great America, Thursday Kings Island, Friday Coney Island Ohio and jet it back to BGW Sunday.

This may be out of the blue, but would the water park expansion feature a sand pool or two from what we know/think so far?

Don't bother, just look at the blueprints:

chknwing wrote:^ this has nothing to do with the blue prints, its all about coasterbruh losing an appendage.

I am now lobbying for sand so I can replace my arm with this . . .

My question here is does the amount of traffic from the campground warrant the expense of a bridge, a gate and someone to man the gate? I doubt it. I would like to see them use some of that land back there for a new woodie. A wooden coaster zipping through the trees would be awesome. Could use the Cyclone area for a station but one thing I don't like about that is 2 woodies right together. Then again, SF did it with El Toro. Also, someone would say a woodie that close to the campground would be a noise problem. Sigh....

I was thinking it would be really cool, if they built a family style indoor roller coaster, with a Smokey Mountain theme. I guess something similar to Animal Kingdom at Disney. I miss the indoor coaster at Cedar Point.
