Sorry, but that really stuck out to me. Awesome theming.... Did you go to the same Cedar Point that I have gone to? The only coaster they had that I considered to have a good theme to it was demolished to make way for Gatekeeper. When they converted the bobsleds to Disaster Transport, inside had a lot of cool theming like you were going through space, By the second season of that, some of the lights were no longer working and it continued to go down hill. For good themed coasters, I think of Revenge of the Mummy and Mystery Mine. Heck, even Back Lot Stunt Coaster has more theming than any CP coaster I can think of (although it's not as good without the enclosed parking garage).

Anyway, I am not a CP hater and I agree that they have a nice selection of coasters. Having been to many other parks, though, they don't have a well-rounded selection of coasters indicative of what is out there.

Cedar Point continues to stay in my top 10 parks but certainly not the top few. There are just some other parks out there with a better selection of food, rides, and entertainment overall. After one day at CP we're pretty much done since it's pretty much like any other standard amusement park. Unlike other parks we visit more often.

^ I think he was saying that he likes CP (exciting coasters) over Disney (mediocre coasters, but with incredible theming).

Well that is very disappointing for people going in the time frame that it is closed... It must be a fairly big upgrade if it takes that long!

^It will be getting new "ride vehicles"....so anything is possible.

From Fox Orlando:
Universal Orlando officials say The Incredible Hulk Coaster will be getting some new enhancements to its storyline, ride vehicles and overall experience.

Officials say they will close the attraction beginning Sept. 8th and won’t return until summer 2016.

A Universal Orlando blogger said he got a sneak peek at plans for The Incredible Hulk Coaster, and riders should feel more immersive and high-tech.

The above is pretty much what the link from Behind The Thrills above when it was updated.
I get 2 Orlando stations (Fox & WESH) and one Jacksonville station (WJXT) and all 3 said pretty much the same thing during the news this evening about the refurb..

KI's 2016 announcement is tomorrow. My final prediction is something small like a family ride or waterpark expansion. I think that they will get a Triotech Dark Ride in 2017.
