So pretty much everybody is getting those drop capsule complexes. King's Island just announced theirs. Cedar Fair seems to be giving most every park the same thing at one point or another, but Carowinds is getting a bit more money spent on them (just as promised). Sweet!

Apparently, the guests love them (looks fun to me ). Also, I'm guessing they're making a lot of money from them. Whatever get's the money coasting into the park's bank accounts works for me! I just hope that ours will have a different color scheme (it should). Jarvis, when you rode the one at King's Dominion, what was your overall opinion? Did you ride all of the slides in the complex?

I've done 4 parks and 4 variations of the drop box slides. Ranging from 65 ft to 121 ft, they all were intimidating and thrilling. I did not do the other 3 slides since they had the longer line and I wanted to do more at KD. I saw more people get in the slide, look down (it has a clear Plexiglas floor) and walk right back out. I didn't get burn on the slides . . . you know, I think the reason pipeline peak burns is because it has a steep and twistier course and these, after the drop, are more moderate. I cant wait for them at carowinds.

Sounds like Kings Dominion, Canada's Wonderland, and Worlds of Fun are making their 2016 announcements tomorrow.
