I can dream can't I?

The park's major attractions would surround the base of the sign.
Lots of LED lighting would really make it pop.
The sign itself would be modern, but still have a slight plantation feel.
From the ground to the top is around 21 feet high.
Just an idea. I doubt that the park would consider it...

That's a REALLY nice design, but my thinking behind building a new one was that the new sign would display actual graphics. And I don't think the sign could be changing would be that unlikely considering Valleyfair and Kings Island recently changed theirs.

I would sell a kidney to have that sign at our park.

I agree with the others. Peanuts Pirates is undoubtedly one of the best two flat rides in the park. Like many flat rides, it is fun for kids and adults as well.

Several of my friends and I rode that back in June and nobody under the age of 14 was on the ride. Back when I was afraid of coasters, that ride is where 99% of my day at Carowinds was spent.

See... That's one thing I've never understood about Cedar Fair. If I by a season pass for 2016 why would you not let me use it for the remainder of 2015? It isn't like there is a full 2015 season in it - they've only got about two more months of weekends only left.

Six Flags does. Herschend does.

It's fine that they do it, but it just seems weird to me.

I know I haven't been on a MaXair style ride (really wanted to), but why is everyone so focused on Kings Dominion? The test park of the chain is getting a flying ninjago ride!! :D :D

Regarding a potential new sign, I think the thing that might make that happen is the fact that Cabela's sign is detracting a bit from the Carowinds one. I could see them getting a bigger, flashier one to change that.

Maybe they'll do this next year and move the current one to the Carolina Harbor exit path?

Im not ranting I PROMISE but what is the incentive to renew a pass when its only 9.00 off the regular price!

^ Jarvis, the real incentive to renewing is the free Fast Lane Plus deal. Savings of $4.50 on a gold pass or $9 on a platinum pass are minimal, like you said, but a free day of Fast Lane Plus is a big incentive.

I think they did away with the special pricing on groups of 4 or more on passes this year, which I think is a good thing, for me, since I always buy in a group of 2. :)

So far, the 2016 Silver pass is not listed on the website, so it might be gone as well. The Silver was only good for a very select group of people that wouldn't need the parking or Scarowinds anyway.

Silver passes are never listed this early, that's why my seven year old has had a gold pass since 2012. She isn't old enough to drive or go to SCarowinds so except for Dino's she can't use any of benefits.
