They are Advertising a clown but I can tell you that they do not know 'Jack'. Ride the coat tails of a bigger event I see.

I'd like to see them go back to SCarowinds as an upcharge event for everybody. Even just $10 for pass holders might reduce the lines so they don't have to cram people non-stop through the mazes. Sometimes when I have gone the past few years, it wasn't as enjoyable. Not because the mazes or the actors weren't good, it was mostly because they never got a chance to reset in the mazes so people were just strolling through.

That's my biggest issue with HHN at Universal. Their mazes are at a better level, but the standby line for each one was anywhere from 1 - 3+ hours. Even though we bought express passes, sometimes we had a 30+ minute wait (on a Thursday night). In many cases they were doing the same thing that SCarowinds usually does, which is send a non-stop stream of people through to keep the lines moving.

The ability to send people through in smaller groups would greatly enhance the experience.

I have a feeling this is for a new scarezone or something. There is nothing currently in place for such a structure. It looks medieval like or as someone said earlier a cathedral or castle entrance. I doubt their adding to London Terror soooo....

[offtopic]The thing with HHN is that I have never waited more than an hour for a house. If you plan it right you can do everything including the shows all in one night. HHN crowds are different than scarowinds being that EVERYONE pays for HHN and its still brings in the crowds. I generally walk slower and ignore the waving fllashlights lol[/offtopic]

While I haven't been to scarowinds in FOREVER, I can imagine how crowded it can be since its free for a large base of the crowd. I would welcome an additional fee any day!

I definitely need to go with you some year. We were able to get all the houses in one night but that was about it.

How are Friday nights typically with the crowds? Do any of you expect the crowds to be heavier this year? I might get a group together and we'll come down after our classes on a Friday evening.
