Are there still the land markers at the area of land where Thunder Road's Turnaround used to be? As far as I'm aware, there are several markers there.

On a side note, I'm gonna make a quick computer model of the sign I designed the other day, just to see what it will look like fully rendered. Shouldn't take very long.

I was super excited to hear the Cirque Imagine announcement today! Like Carowinds said last year, they are stepping up their entertainment options and this is a sign of that. For the first time ever, I can't wait to go see the show and will probably see it a few times.

The new Starbucks at the front entrance sounds exciting. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around a 3,000 square foot building at the front plaza.

When you listen more, talk less, ask the right questions to the right people, and don't go and tell the world, it's sometimes amazing the little things here and there that you hear and can piece together. The upcoming years are going to be exciting for sure!

I can't imagine they'll just add the Starbucks and not end up changing a few things around in the process.

The new Starbucks is going in the Carowinds Plaza. From my understanding (picking my words carefully ) it will be replacing a couple of the buildings and their functions will either be incorporated into the new large building or moved elsewhere in the park. I think it is the first phase of the Carowinds Plaza face lift with more to come in the future.

If I had to guess, it's replacing the photo booth buildings since the permit was filed in Mecklenburg County.
