Hi, new here but have been a constant lurker for quite some time

There was a picture posted on CC's Facebook page yesterday with a beach music band on the Harmony Hall outdoor stage. I thought I also saw a stage on the right side of the wave pool in one of the earlier plans posted. Were there any hints off camera at the announcement that that pool stage may be used for some live entertainment? I'm not usually a water park person (mostly due to the crowds) but I can totally picture my self lounged on one of those 1,200 new beach chairs, by the new wave pool, drinking a frosty drink from the new, nearby full service bar listening to some live beach music....pinch me now!

Looking at the renderings, the overhead looks like a stage/large screen. But the rendering that looks from a pov looks like a stage off to right but I didn't hear anything about one. I don't know about anyone else. There could be a good chance of it being there was going to be dive in movies this year, but it was moved to Harmony Hall and called Dine In Movies.

Yea I'm with Amos on the light house location being most likely on the plot where the it looks to be where the current play house is located. Wonder if they will put a rotating light in it that would be awesome, nothing as bright as a real one but but enough to tell it's there.

The plants vs zombies thing. Is this something that we should see in the action theater or a new structure being built. Are we for sure it's plants vs zombies? Or is a divert to keep us guessing?

^^^I would say right there in the grassy area in front of Blackbeard's Revenge. That's the only thing I forgot to ask about was the proposed location.

Yeah I'm guessing the thinking behind that is that they want to give you a nice impression right as you walk in.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet or not, but what if......WE HAVE THE FIRST FLUME VIDEO GAME ATTRACTION. Not sure if there is one out there but Plants vs Zombies could totally apply. That would be awesome.

Can we get a FURY IPA at the new Bar?
I'm sure either NoDa or Birdsong breweries would collaborate with Carowinds on this.

As much as I love a good IPA, I would love to see something different. Everyone is doing IPA now...it's "the thing". Maybe a cool Bock or a Honey Lager for Fury. Would be cool at the new bar.....but even better....a Surfside Saison for the new, rocking Carolina Harbor theme. WOOHOO!!!

It's anybody's guess as to what it's going to be, but I'd like to bring up something Amos said a while back....

I can say that I'm perfectly okay with Thunder Road not being there next season. Especially for this; a "first of it's kind". At first, I was upset, but now I'm all for it!
