Probably good timing for you, I always seem to be Hungary when Harmony Hall is slammed.

But I guess my question is then are there other options we can get besides what's listed here:

Harmony Hall does not have any salads listed.

I was sticking close to "the list" and then started asking. What I found out is that just about any entree and side is available on the meal plan as long as it is a Carowinds place and not a contract place like Chick-fil-a. The exception to that was Chickie & Petes because they were listed on the map accidently so they will honor with certain things.

There is lots of info if you go back and read through the thread. We really like our food on this board. HAHA

My guess would be that it became too difficult to limit what was and wasn't on the plan. I have never been told something wasn't included except a drink. :-)

If you have a question, I have always found the people at the food places to be really helpful.

Thanks for the info. I think we will roll the dice and get the dining plans with the 2016 Gold passes and I hope Chicken Shack is open the free day we go this year and my wife is going to ask around then at Harmony Hall for some ingredient lists.

Did any one else notice that they stopped charging for souvenir cups when using the season dinning plan lately? Are employees not told they are to charge for them with a meal plan or are they just too lazy?

I noticed that also. This sounds crazy but maybe they just decided it wasn't worth the 99 cent.

Me and my family have loved the dining plan this year. I have wondered but never asked if you could mix and match say chicken tenders with mac and cheese instead of sidewinder fries?

If you want ingredients lists, just ask Chef Chris directly. He will be more than happy to assist you. :)

Not 100% sure on the dinning pass but I went last weekend with a friend who wanted the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Fries instead of Mac and cheese and was told they would have to pay full price for the fries, since it wasn't in their cubby.

Harmony Hall does not have any salads listed.

I was told any meal that has the dining plan meal logo (yellow circle with spoon, fork, knife) beside it on the overhead menus is included in the all season dining plan. Like Littlegiles suggested, the entree salad at harmony hall is excellent and it has the dining logo on their menu board, so it is included as well.

You may find this video about how they prepare their harmony hall barbeque helpful as well as you search for GF options:

I asked at the beginning of the season what sides I could choose from at Harmony Hall. Since the plan was new to everyone, I was directed to a supervisor. He told me any entree and any side in Harmony hall could be mixed and matched. I was thrilled to get my fried chicken tenders and a side garden salad.

A few weeks into the season, as I went to the register with an entree and a side salad I was told they changed the policy and side salads were no longer included but any other side is. So since I have not been told differently, I still always choose any entree and any side when at Harmony Hall.

After reading MarkD's experience , I hope I'm not doing anything wrong but I suspect this may now be a gray area.

Update-Forgot to mention, they did specifically tell me that pizza and pasta always comes with a breadstick and I did not have a choice of a side if I selected one of those entrees.

I think it really depends on who you get at the counter when it comes to mixing and matching sides. There have been times I've asked (for example I don't like the pasta salad but really enjoy the Italian sub, so I've asked to get fries instead), and I've been told yes, and times I've been told no. I don't think there is a hard and fast rule, at least not one enforced consistently. I do also have the suspicion that if you got your sandwich, then walked over and got a side of fries, and then walked over to the check out, that you'd likely meet with no resistance. 8)

Overall I've been really happy with the dining plan, we've eaten something like 25 meals in the parks, so I've gotten my money's worth, and I've found the food to be consistently decent. I do hope they continue to have the funnel cakes on the season dining menu, because we'd often come to the park, have an early lunch, and then use our next entitlement for a funnel cake before we left for the day. With two small kids, we can't do all day, and pretty much never stay until dinner time, but those funnel cakes were a nice afternoon snack! :D
