They're replacing Fury with Thunder Road obviously!

But in all seriousness though, what could the problem be? I've really noticed a lot of chipping paint on the rails this year. That never happened on Intimidator (if I remember correctly). Why would the paint be chipping so severely like that? Regardless of what anyone says, the trains do have a slight vibration to them (depending on where you sit will depict how noticeable it is).

I think it may have something to do with the wheels. I'm not sure B&M had planned for this but I think they may be overheating. I would not be surprised if we saw misters added under the station track to cool the wheels. That could explain the chipping paint and the vibrations.

Unfortunately there must have been some sort of major malfunction or safety issue for Fury to be closed on a weekend. A cosmetic issue such as painting can be done on a closed day or the off season. Perhaps the wheels needed to be replaced or something more serious. Hopefully they can reopen soon.

Are you just pulling this out of your rear?

Looks like a lot of rides went down today after reading the twitter stuff... Was the weather bad down there? We had a 5 min drizzle here.... I would guess it had more to do with weather than anything? Probably to windy...

They're having such a rough weekend mannnn. I think that it does have something to do with the trains. They already had issues with the transfer track earlier this season. If anybody has questions about that, PM me.

We didn't get there until about 2pm, but the weather was fine, crowds were light and we did not encounter any ride closures except, of course for Fury which they had the entire area barricaded off just beyond Jukebox cafe, with a path to get to the Fury gift shop. It started raining after 7:30.

Intimidator 305 had an overheating problem, and mid-season they ended up adding water-sprays under the station and around the brake run to keep the wheels from getting too hot.
