I'm a bit confused about some of the information on the new carolina harbor website. First, they talk about one of the wave pools in terms of sq. footage and the other in terms of gallons held. So is the new wave pool larger, smaller, the same size? I know the waves are going to be larger. Secondly, the new kids splash zone they made a big deal about the large 423 gallon drop bucket, but the page lists the bucket at the old splash zone as being 1,000 gallons? Is this right? Or are they replacing that with a newer structure as well? If so, why is it larger that the new new structure? Lastly, Sand Dune Lagoon, not sure what it was formerly called, but I never one saw it open? Unless you count birds and a bored looking worker. Why are they all of the sudden touting it as an attraction for kids, yet it is fairly far from the new 2 acre kids area? It seems silly to have a new all kids ( family ) area, and yet have two big attractions that are mainly for kids or families so far from the new 2 acre area. That is all, thanks for any input, also gotta say I'm glad the I hate carowinds BS as calmed down. Jeez, I've never seen such crap being spewed because someone didn't get another record breaking coaster in back to back years. Also Universal is great, but get over it, they are not the same type of park at all.... I'll gladly accept a park without someone like you and your family ruining it for me and my family by complaining all the time. Good riddance.
