Thanks for the feedback, guys  So, paint can really have an 'effect' on a coaster's performance? Never heard that one before.
I just hope that there wasn't any major issues this week. This brings back memories from I305's first season. But we all know what happened there

I'm not sure what exactly happens, but there is a reason that Intamin leaves a strip of non-painted rail everywhere a wheel comes in contact with the rail. I want to say another manufacturer does but I can't recall who right now.

That's it. I was thinking Mack but I couldn't find anything to back this up.

Looking at some of the pics it doesn't seem that way. All I'm seeing in the steel color where the paint has been rubbed off.

Edit: Here's proof that they didn't.

Edit again: It appears that they left the running wheel strip unpainted. The upstop and the guide wheel strips were painted.

Steve told me that there was a possibility of adding fog under the dive tunnel
It was an idea they had in mind. Not 100% sure if they were really going to do it or not.

Do tell! Links maybe?

Now you asking me to be tech savvy....you asking the wrong guy. HAHA

Nothing major. There were two tweets from Laressa. One commented about how she was working on a special project and worked with the greatest people (pic on Fury platform with Mike and others) and the other was a retweet of a photo showing Mike adjusting a camera on Fury.

My guess would be a TV commercial and would not explain the cranes or closing of the ride. I wouldn't expect them to shut down the ride on a weekend to prep for a TV commercial when they are closed during the week. Guess if it was anything major we will find out eventually.
