^ Thats just gr8 sk8 or the gauntlet, not anything new... Im leaning more towards a dark ride with some kind of "new" technology.... Maybe like voyage to the iron reef at Knotts.... Hopefully it will involve the "action" theatre whatever it is....

Those type of attractions will generate the same buzz as a new coaster or water park expansion. Dont count on the park to downplay those type of major investments.

I know it's just Gauntlet but it was one of the few unique flats at Carowinds. Maybe not as unique as anything Wonderland has, but falling stars are a dying breed. It was my favorite flat in the park (haven't ridden Peanuts Pirates in a while and I'm terrible at snapping the gliders). I'd love to experience a wild cycle on one of these. Doesn't look like we're getting any flats next year at all though.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this a terrible idea. Just let me enjoy the freaking coaster without the distraction of a television screen strapped to my face. Plus, not to sound like a germaphobe, but something seems a little unsanitary about having the germs of hundreds of strangers placed right near your eyes. Would not disappoint me if we never saw these at Carowinds, or anywhere in the chain.

I agree 100%. I'm not interested in that at all and it would be gross wearing those.

Does anyone think the mystery attraction will be from Skyline Attractions? I know I shouldn't cling to what people say on this site, but Jarvis has been hinting at some sort of game attraction. Maybe it's not a digital attraction but instead some sort of large GamesURide attraction that has yet to be announced. Another bad example of me listening to what people say on here is Amos saying that the park is waiting on the company to finalize the animations. I don't think he actually knows anything (sorry), but Skyline does have some blurred concept art on their site. Maybe they're having it rendered as we speak.
