Question: This is my first time going to Scarowinds, and I'm wondering how park admission works. Would I need a seperate ticket for Scarowinds than for park admission?

Also, how busy is it generally on the first Friday of October?

Yes, Scarowinds is a separate ticket from Carowinds. On days that both are open they close Carowinds at 5:30 and re-open as Scarowinds at 7:00. The Gold Season Pass gets you in both.

The Fridays and Saturdays get progressively more crowded/busy the closer you get to Halloween. Generally in good weather October Fridays and Saturdays are very crowded/busy. Some of the longest ride wait times I've experienced at Carowinds were during Scarowinds.

I can't speak for Sundays, and I know you didn't ask, but can other veterans speak of Sunday crowds?

I thought we went over this but '^' means you're responding, not to the person above, but the post above that. If you were responding to tarheel, your ^ was indicating you were responding to me.
