Is this what I think it is?
FamousAmos wrote:I have spare time here and there. I might start creating concept art for future rides and updated areas of the park. I have some ideas up my sleeve that I think the park might be interested in. I know that Rob liked a few of my ideas. But we'll see what happens. I may not post any pictures of my concept art...
just in case.

Before I stated sketches for the entrance model, I was working on a prototype for another model, which would be a functioning model. Not just this one scene, but the entire attraction.

EDIT I might actually go ahead and finish this prototype and make it actually "stretch".

The new $2,300 case on the model looks great! And now there will never be trash thrown in it again!

Are you going to finish the Haunted Mansion? It is my favorite ride at Magic Kingdom.

Yes. Just little bits of trash though. The manager of Harmony Hall once found a bit of food in it (before I actually finished the model) and cleaned it out for me. Now with this case, that won't be an issue.

At some point, I will be fully dedicated to that project. That one, however, would cost me thousands of dollars to create. The doombuggies would actually go around the track, you can look into each scene, hear sound effects, etc. There would be tiny servo motors and lots of lighting effects. Everything else would all be made by hand. I would estimate at least $5,000 for the materials (not including if I have to use laser-cut materials and/or 3D printed materials).

Here is an idea:

It will be a while, but I will eventually get back to work on this working model. My next model (which I will start a thread for soon) will be of a model that someone asked me to make...

I just read this entire thread (was very bored at work, lol) and have to say WOW!!! Great work all around. Your dedication is impressive. I love the pictures, and will have to stop in Harmony Hall to see the model in person next time I'm there. :o
